This place is my second home! I’m usually here at least 3 times a week, first off the flavor and portion size is unmatched! The food is served hot right in your face and some prepared to order. Great customer service from the line servers that make you feel like family, everyone patiently waiting and watching in hopes to be the next served with a smile is an experience you want to replay on a constant! I swear the prices are insanely reasonable that you don’t mind spending extra to let a friend taste the greatness!

This spot was on my list of restaurants to try. Easy to locate. You get to select items from the bar. Found that some items listed on the large menu displayed on the wall are not available daily. Some are only available on Sundays. People were welcoming and friendly. And make sure you have cash as that is all that’s accepted. I didn’t get to order anything as what I wanted was only available on Sunday. Maybe I will try another time.

More bang for your buck! This is a hole in the wall, soul food carry-out restaurant. Be prepared to stand in line. If you have a hand-held fan, BRING IT. Your debit/credit card isn’t good here, but your cash is. Acceptable form of payment…CASH ONLY!! Menu favorites are oxtails, beef tips and rice, turkey wings, fried pork chops, baked chicken, ribs, a variety of vegetables, and corn bread. The plates are filled with soul food goodness. It takes me 3 days to finish my plate. From what I hear, they serve a good breakfast as well. Please know what you want before you get to the serving line. The food is always served hot. Those ladies work hard, and they keep the line moving. Be so kind to leave your server a tip in their respective tip boxes. I am never disappointed.

Everything you would expect of a legit country southern mom & pop corner sto’. Hot, door open, hood spot. & they load your plate up to where it will crack in the bottom if you don’t hold it with two hands. One plate was enough to feed a family of 3.

This place serves hearty portions of delicious home cooking, i.e. soul food! The restaurant doesn’t look like much, but the food makes up for what it’s lacking in atmosphere. I have tried the meatloaf, beef tips and rice, hamburger steak, baked chicken, and pork chops. All of those were delicious! Also, the food was not too salty! One plate was enough for me and my hubby. When you go, leave a tip for the servers, it’s well deserved. I think the chef needs a tip box too!
