Interesting venue we visited in Virginia. It was off Maritime area where you could watch the boats on the water. The visuals outside were great and the price of food was reasonable. We enjoyed hanging on the outside area of the dining location looking in toward the bar. Place had a nice community vibe and our waitress was very good.

I was disappointed with my experience. The crab dip was tasteless, and the pitas were limp (a limp pita is never good)! I asked the waitress for an entree recommendation, and she said the seafood macaroni, so I gave it a go. Also tasteless with the exception of the scallops. The group I was with had better luck but still very hit or miss. *Pictured are the crab dip, oysters rockefeller, cracked crab claws, seared scallops, and surf and turf pasta.

This place good to stop in and grab a bite to eat at. My wife and I were wanting to try some seafood while we were traveling so we stopped in here. The food overall was good, the drinks were good, and the place was pretty crowded. Not sure if you need reservations, but I think you can call ahead. Good place to go if you are looking to watch boats park in the horbor or just stop in for a drink.

Enjoy my 1st visit to Stony’s! We had to wait, but it was shorter than expected and they do let you grab a cocktail & roam outside on the grounds. Great marina view. The meal was good – enjoyed Stony’s take on Oysters Rockefeller, fried oysters in a savory sauce with the tastiest bacon I’ve had in a while. Good clams and salads with a nice piece of Salmon as an add-on.

Just had a terrific dinner here with wife. First time. They were busy. Took bar seats. Service was very good. The pan seared scallops were off the hook, perfection. Fresh, tasty and melt in your mouth. The swordfish was excellent. The flounder was good. Atmosphere was upbeat and enjoyable. Definitely recommend, and will return to try more menu options.
