I got the chicken Alfredo and I will not do it again. I thought it was gross. The chicken was not chicken breast and the whole texture threw me off. Every thing else was good. This place is in a great location but laid out rather odd. The food is great after u have been out all day in the sun, but I wouldn’t go here looking for a really nice meal or anything expensive. However, It is right next to not 1 but 2 beaches! Lake Michigan and Stony Lake! Which makes it great for everyone nearby. Servers were nice and the bartenders were good ppl too. HIGHLY recommend their BLT and their pulled pork sandwich.

My wife and I both ordered a filet mignon steak because I had heard it was great, it was thin cut, tough to cut and eat, not even a fair quantity of sirloin for both of us. Not sure why we did not send it back, sweet potato fries were over cooked. My brother in law ordered a steak medium rare, it came well done, he sent it back, we were done eating for his new steak was served, my sisters steak was fine.

I think the food here is wonderful. I had the ribeye with mashed potatoes and cooked apples for dinner one night, and the fried asparagus another night. The fried asparagus is amazing. You should definitely give that a try. I was disappointed that asparagus is not a side item for dinner, since it’s grown locally and they have plenty available. Located right next to Camp Miniwanca. Friendly staff and good food.

The steaks are awesome here. I am not sure about the last review. I have never been disappointed. If there was a problem, I am sure the staff would replace it. I have been dinning at the Stony Inn for over 10 years. Excellent food and a terrific staff. I am a really big fan of the chef salad and homemade ranch dressing as well when I have a lite appetite. The broasted chicken is a good option as well.

Went for a drink and had a wonderful Oberon in a FROSTED glass! Sat at the bar and the bar tender was friendly and the space is pretty neat and very convenient. Only ordered fries. The fries were ok, and the portion size was a little small for an appetizer, but overall had a great visit. It was very hot outside and the bar remained cool. Did not order the fries asparagus but did envy the plate that passed me by.

Great bar food and we’re picky. I had the perch sandwich and onion rings and hubby had the bourbon salmon which was moist and tender, fresh veggies not over cooked.
