Cozy downtown restaurant in Martinsburg. The waitress was prompt and friendly and the bartender too. The steak and shrimp dish was excellent. They had some decent prices for cocktails but they were not my favorite. We would revisit.

We were delighted to see the new seating arrangements! The booths look so comfy and add nice warmth to the room. The new chairs at the tables are wonderful and so comfortable. We enjoyed the selection of oysters on the half shell. Three of us ordered the lobster risotto which was delicious. The fourth member of our group chose the sirloin topped with crab . He loved it! It was a wonderful dining experience!

First time dining and was blown away at how amazing this place is and excellent the food was. Our server was great and she gave us really good recommendations, the humus starter was perfect. The Stoney’s original lobster roll was an excellent choice and we came on Wednesday’s $20 whiskey flights that can’t be beat. Truly amazing staff, the owner greeting us as we walked in and a very good selection of whiskey will have us coming back for sure. Thank you Stoney’s!

Great service and the food was delicious! The presentation of all the dishes at our table (only mine pictured here) was really nice. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their food! The lobster bisque was one of the best I have ever had. Definitely pricer place to eat but worth it. Our server was also such a sweetheart and accommodating to our groups needs and request.

My husband set up a date night for us and decided to try somewhere new (to us). So glad he chose Stoney’s! I usually only get my oyster “fix” when we visit the beach because they just never taste the same in local settings. Well, Stoney’s has proven me wrong! I went out on a limb and tried their MD, VA, and CT oyster selection. MD was my favorite but they were all fantastic. Here’s the list of other menu items we tried: Campfire Old Fashioned, Stoney’s Old Fashioned, Oaxaca Old Fashioned, crab pizza, lobster roll, and sirloin Imperial. We enjoyed everything, but our favorites (besides the oysters for me!) were the lobster roll and sirloin. Hands down the best lobster roll we’ve ever had! I asked for a rare temp on the sirloin. I was prepared to be disappointed because I’ve never actually received a cool, red center in a restaurant. I wasn’t! It came out perfectly cooked and had a delicious flavor even without the shrimp and crab. As an FYI, the crab pizza is more like deconstructed crab dip on a thin cracker. We weren’t expecting it since it’s called “pizza” but it did have great flavor and crunch. We’ll definitely be back for $1 oyster night as well as to try the other cocktails and menu items!

This beautiful little gem of a restaurant is worth the trip. We had the Mussels, Oysters and Lobster Roll Sandwiches. Katie our waitress was attentive and friendly. Definitely going back.

I’m sadly going to have to give this place a bad review. Love the atmosphere, the food is great, but unfortunately for us the service was not. This is martinsburg, wv. Not DC area. So if my finance and I are going out for a nice dinner and going to pay an arm and a leg to do so, I expect the service to be great. We both have worked in the service industry and give a lot of grace to servers. So I do not like leaving bad reviews but this place really needs to do better with being friendly to all of their customers and better service. Especially for the price it costs to have a nice dinner out there. Super disappointed and am not returning. We ended up spending the rest of our night at the Young American right up the street and the service, food, and atmosphere there was exceptional!

We are visiting from PA. Outstanding hospitality and service. The owner was at our table multiple times as well as our server & the manager. We had the crab nachos for an appetizer, fish tacos & salmon with pork belly. My husband had a whiskey flight & I had the Riesling. I am definitely stopping back here as we go to Roanoke frequently. I highly recommend this place. Thank you!
