Service was very inviting and fast. Pizza taste is awesome. Got large hand tossed and the crust was VERY thin. It made it too tough for me and hard to chew so it hurt after eating a couple pieces. Cheesy garlic bread is great and very garlicky.

Stoney’s I generally pretty good, had been my go to spot in Kokomo. However unfortunately they don’t seem to make a consistent product. Sourdough pizza requires time for fermentation to develop flavor and sometimes the crust has great taste others it’s just bland. I suspect they’re not consistent with this method and hence the variance I notice when I get it. However i wouldn’t consider this a show stopper the pizza is still decent. I recently ordered a Sicilian which had no rise completely under proofed dough more consistent with a grandma style as it was served. This again is a lack of consistency on their part. Pickle pizza was good unique fun combo of flavors.
Despite this Stoney’s was my go to however don’t think I can get it any more. On my last order there was mix of rancid cheese and I just can’t manage to want to get it again after that. So hence the 3 stars.
Guys in there are nice people place is clean probably didn’t realize there was bad cheese in the mix I won’t hold it against them but I won’t be getting it anymore.
Edit: Owner Reached out explaining situation and refunded without me asking. Appreciate this gesture will give them another chance in the future.

How can the crust be so fluffy, light and crispy at the same time be sturdy enough to hold the generous amount of cheese and toppings?? I’m still trying to figure that one out. Fair pricing and friendly employee.

Got the pizza earlier than the delivery time… cold and wet. Hanging out of the box. We called the store only to be mocked by the employees. I called the store once. I was called four times. The owner called, very apologetic. We only wanted a refund. This turned into an hour or so of employees telling us we can’t speak to management until Friday next week) it was Saturday) and the boss calling me a few times to beg forgiveness… also asking if I knew what vegan cheese was and it could be my fault. All around a weird and awful experience. … first time buyer, last time buyer. 40$ by the way for one pizza.

Let me tell you about this place… Ordered a large banana pepper, pineapple, and pepperoni. The toppings are plentiful. The sauce is sweet with just a hit of acidity. The cheese will give a wonderful stretch. Pizza in a town like Kokomo has no business having such a wonderful pull of cheese and toppings, but this place has it. And the crust… Let me try explain how excellent the crust is. The taste is second to none is this town. It is not hard, but the bottom is just hard enough you can still support the weight of all those toppings. If there is a top pizza place in this town, dare I say Stoney’s is it.
If they ever attempt to do a sour dough Chicago style deep dish, my wallet and waistline are in trouble.

Super friendly staff! We were in the ‘mo for monthly bowling league and picked up a pizza to bring home for dinner. Even after an hour drive and it being reheated it was delicious! Their nacho cheese sauce is pepperoni bacon and banana peppers for the win!

New favorite pizza place, HANDS DOWN!!! Never knew this place was here, so glad we found it!! This is a MUST. A stand out pizza place, far above the rest!! We had a cheese pizza and garlic Parmesan bites and our taste buds were dancing!! Can’t wait to come back!!

After seeing all of the positive reviews, we had to try it ourselves. We ordered 2 pizza & appetizer combos. The pizza’s were generously topped, with good & even sauce and cheese. Our first pizza was pineapple, sausage, banana pepper with red sauce. Our second was chicken, red onion, basil with their garlic sauce. The garlic sauce was by far superior. The garlic bites were extremely garlicky (which we loved) and the breadsticks were good too! Both can be dipped in either the nacho cheese or marinara. Because everything is sour dough based, it’s much tougher & chewier vs traditional pizza. If you like sourdough, this is the spot for you! We loved everything we had.
