My parents have been telling me they have heard great things about the Stonyfront bar and grill! We finally all went and so glad we did!! Megan was our server and she was absolutely wonderful! She was super nice, had a fire built, packed up our left overs and just was the sweetest!! The real story here is how good the food is…the home made soup was sooo good, the home made fries, crab stuffed mushrooms, my husband had the scallops and he said they were absolutely soo good! The herb garden outside, everything is made from scratch! The history of the building with original floors, the big rock fireplace, and great bar! Plus the price of our meal with appetizers amd drinks was extremely reasonable! We will be making this a regular spot on our drive by or even cruise over from Grants Pass.

Stopped here on our way bay from the big cat place and loved it. Coors lights on tap hella bonus! ,the bacon jalapeño poppers were crazy delicious with periogis and sour cream. I had a side salad and it had seasonal radishes and asked for mushrooms and they complied! Gus was super cool to chat with and gave us some history of the place. Bathrooms are super modern and clean. The place is made from river rocks from the rogue river and there’s crazy amounts of history here.

Food is Good, fresh home made onionrings & fries. Breaded shrimp (a little salty for my taste) however good. Burger, my husband enjoyed it, tasty, cooked to order, value for price.

Went here for the first time on August 14, 2025. Husband ordered rib eye, baked potato and asparagus, he said it was perfect. I ordered salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus, I ate every bite, the meal was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The owner/hostess was very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a decent meal at a great price as well.

Place was clean when I had dinner with a friend on Sunday. The checking in with us was not horrible but not great either from server. The food was a mixed review. We had different things, the rib eye steak was actually a slice of prime rib pre-cooked(not informed by server, just too many years in this line if work that I worked so I know the trade pretty well) and not rare as requested closer to a Medium than a medium rare, also came out really late(I think cook was trying to find a rare cut on a pre cooked meat and bring it up to temp without going to far medium) sadly our server didn’t check back or kept us up on what was going in so food came out in weird order even on our meals. Loke our baked Potato, and their rib eye(actually re-heated prime slice, and flavor if meat by itself not great) came out after their lobster tail and Baked potato. Again not really any reason given and so were told other stuff coming out but having waited a long time from seeing the server, oh but the Lobster tail was pleasantly just right and would pass an east coast approval on the cooking of it. My hamburger steak with mushrooms was very good(up there with the best in US), my beets were a lovely site, but not any flavor besides oil and beets grilled, and with them all pretty hard as in 93 percent on raw scale (a par boil, seasoned first would do great). We both got food yuck about 2 hours after eating here, intense gastro yuck. The only things we both ate was macaroni salad which didn’t taste off, and we shared the crab stuffed mushrooms which were not the best or the worst in the US but not even average, but more below average. The mushrooms were raw, which you don’t do with stuffed mushrooms, and the filling tasted weird so not sure if it was the cheese choices or maybe something going that later got us sick. The strawberry pie was great had it next day. So was it a place to try again? Sure, I will check it out in a month or so to see if things like service, and conistency with food is better. Like I said though my mushroom hamburger steak was very good just wished the other things mentioned were more up to par.

Food was above average, although the. Cheesecake leaves a bit to be desired. The owner is nice and her support staff is friendly and attentive.
Have been here a few times including their Thanksgiving dinner and been satisfied every time. Pricing is reasonable, and appreciate the support of local breweries and farms. Will be back.

Popped in to check out the latest inception of this venue on a Tuesday afternoon. It did not disappoint and that my well behaved little fur friend was welcome, was a huge plus. The new proprietors seem pretty ambitious in their vision, in how many tables were set up with silverware and placemats in anticipation of diners. It was a little daunting wending my way to the back outdoor seating area, navigating around the many empty tables and chairs that occupied the floor space.
We ordered the appetizer combo platter. Having never had deep fried pickles, it was something I looked forward to trying. They were decent, but the onion rings stole the show. The owner was very personable and eager to share their intentions for the place. I was surprised they were committed to a seven day week and at least 12-15 hours of operation time. With that much dedication to the business, I sincerely hope they do well and all those table setups are necessary to accommodate their anticipated customers. We’ll be back!
