Can get busy on a weekend for lunch. I snapped a picture to figure out our order while in line. Food was fine. Sit outside, have a nice seating area. Check out the kitchen wares gift shop while visiting.

Stonewall Kitchen store is a fine shopping experience for jams, jellies, sauces, chutneys, kitchen ware, etc., but their Cafe is outstanding! I recommend highly the lobster and brie grilled cheese. It is also pretty cool that you can view their production lines via windows.

Stopped here for lunch before driving the remaining distance to the Nubble lighthouse. The clam chowder was a little too watery, but the flounder fish sandwich was solid, if somewhat pricy ($16 plus $4 for the onion rings). We of course also bought some jams and sauces from the store to go before heading out.

Great sandwiches. Try the lobster BLT or Turkey club. And sit outside if it’s nice out. Dog friendly outside too. Definitely worth the trip. A bit pricey but it’s nice if you’re in the area and want to visit the store anyway.

I thought I would try it since the local restaurants were extremely busy. The line was long, the staff were so very busy it seemed like they were overwhelmed. I would not recommend eating breakfast here. Not sure how the rest of the food is. My son didn’t even eat his. He got scrambled eggs which were dry. Mine came with over easy. The white on them was black. I was supposed to get ham. I got bacon which was also burnt. Home fry potatoes were also dried out. For $40 it was definitely not worth it but hey you never know unless you give it a try!

I had a salad with avocado and chicken added in. My wife had a sandwich with chicken, which was fine. But the chicken they added on my salad was such a weird gummy texture, I was taken aback. I was wondering if it was some sort of vegan chicken, or if it was undercooked. I asked someone who worked there and they assured me it’s good to eat and real chicken that comes from a supplier, pre-cooked and cut, but it was nothing like the chicken on my wife’s sandwich or anything I’ve ever eaten before. Like the texture of eating fat, really grossed me out. They made me something else but i don’t understand why an upscale cafe like this would use a pre-made and bagged ingredient like this, given how pricey it was.
