The best pizza we have had in Vermont in twenty years. Absolutely delicious. Friendly and attentive staff and Ethan can throw some serious dough! Highly recommend the sausage and onion pizza and the Grazer!

Great pizza using real ingredients. Cheeses are all high quality and aren’t just a tasteless blob on top. Creative toppings and a flavorful tomato sauce. The people working here are always hustling but still very attentive and friendly. Salads are delicious and clearly not just an afterthought. The space is cozy and well decorated in a neat old building. Nice to have a spot that’s not your standard bar/grill style pizza!

The large takeout peppers and onions pie had a chemical smell and taste, and it was overcooked. We threw half of it out. We won’t be going back, even though the place is in our neighborhood.

Very friendly greeting as soon as you walk in. We sat and we’re brought menus, which had the classics and some unique options for pizza. They have a small, large, and gluten free dough option and I think a few salads. We ordered at the counter and our food was ready pretty quickly and the pizza was soooo good! Nice to have something a little different around. My favorite is the Hunter with pork belly.

Not bad at all, except the tiny beer selection. They only had fiddlehead on tap and no other ipa’s. I think fiddlehead tastes like weed. The BLT pizza was yummy. Ask for parmesan and red paper flakes once you get your pie. Not much else in the area.

We visited Smuggler’s Notch this past weekend and we asked the nearby Boyden Valley Winery for a great place to eat.
They recommended Stone’s Throw. We instantly liked the open space atmosphere and the very welcoming staff. We had Caesar’s salad, two different tasty pizzas and their unique creme brulee.
In short – we loved this place very much. Everyone in this “small’ seemed to have a good time. Definitely worth a visit.

I was able to try Stone’s Throw while on vacation, and I am so glad we stumbled upon it! I ordered the Better Sinatra and it was honestly one of the best pizzas (especially best vegan pizzas) I have ever had. I am devastated that I don’t live in the area to make Stone’s Throw a regular stop. The vegan sausage and mozzarella were both soooooo good and I truly can’t stop thinking about this pizza. The local beer options were awesome and the staff was friendly – I honestly loved the whole vibe! Hope to make it back one day

This is, hands down, the best pizza place you’ll find in Vermont. Not only is the pizza DELICIOUS every time, but the service is wonderful! The staff that they hire are the kindest people with amazing customer service skills and talent in the kitchen. They are super welcoming and accommodating of kiddos and being able to watch the pizza being made is a huge hit with my almost 4 year-old. This has been our go-to takeout spot since we moved to Franklin County. Highly recommend!! 10/10
