Almost $54 on Uber Eats, and that’s with a BOGO deal. The pizza is tiny, and they put the garlic cup on top so that it slid the cheese of the crust. Will never get food here again, absurd lack of value for the cost.

I ordered a small “Nice to Meat You” which is a pepperoni pizza with sausage and ham.

Quality / Taste seems similar to Little Italy, some factors better, some worse. The tomato sauce is pretty great and crust texture is pretty nice.

Not high end pizza but definitely fits the role as Stoner Pizza.

Service is solid as well.

Price is a little steep however. $18.00 for a small pizza and drink seems a little excessive. But I’ll keep 4 stars in consideration of the economy. It was also enough to make me full for lunch.

All in all I’d give it a try and see what you think.

The pizza was raw. I ordered the white sauce based pizza, which fell apart as I picked it up. The raw dough sagged and the wet cheese leaked gross water everywhere. The sauce cup in our other pizza box was not properly sealed and spilt everywhere. Genuinely terrible. I also asked for no green peppers, guess what. Green peppers. Inedible and waste of money.

Great friendly team! Seating area is small, so no large groups, but fantastic atmosphere! Good vibes all around. Pizza is very cheesy, and all ingredients are great. Fewer pepperoni than other places in town, but not horrible for the price.

Friday, 27 June 2025: If you’re interested and daring enough for an unexpected experience, check out Stoners Pizza Joint! The pizza was DELICIOUS!
Chris was a fantastic host! He’s the new owner/boss and he means business!

This pizza will positively surprise and delight you!

NOTE (29 June 2025): I don’t live in Athens and some locals told me Stoners Pizza Joint WAS not the best BUT Chris took over (ownership?) about three (3) months ago and it looks like he’s working hard to turn the place around.

Just the nastiest pizza in town. Ridiculously greasy and the cheese tastes like it was grown in an 80s sci-fi b-movie lab. Got the extra large pepperoni and there was almost exactly 2 pepperonis per slice. Also got raw dough instead of garlic knots. If it’s late in the night just go to little Italy

The cheese pizza slice was like almost a 1/4 pizza, tasted like Papa John’s but it was hot and very cheesy

It doesn’t matter what you order at Stoner’s Pizza—they’ll just throw together whatever they have and call it a day. Hope you like surprises!

Our office ordered from them twice. The first time, we paid extra for ranch cups ($1 each, mind you), and instead of getting what we ordered, they just tossed in garlic and marinara like we wouldn’t notice. Okay, mistakes happen. The pizza was decent for the price, so we gave them another shot two weeks later. Bad call.

Same deal—paid for extra ranch, didn’t get it. No heads-up, no apology. When we called, they casually informed us they were out of ranch, so they just gave us Caesar and Greek dressing instead. Because nothing says “ranch substitute” like Greek dressing, right?

Then there were the salads. The menu says Caesar salads come with shaved parmesan, and house salads come with mozzarella. Naturally, they flipped that entirely—shaved parm all over the house salads, no parm on the Caesars. I don’t eat shaved parm, so my salad was basically ruined. And the ranch I ordered with my salad? Nonexistent. Shocking.

Also, the dough is way too tough—either under-proofed, overworked, or both. Get ready for a jaw workout!

On the bright side, the sauce and cheese are actually good. Too bad the rest is a game of culinary roulette.

We had an issue with our order and the manager fixed it and was very accommodating. The original employee who answered the phone was pretty rude but I’m still giving 5 stars because the food is great and the manager was nice.

I ordered and spent $50 on a pizza delivery on Sept 27. After not hearing from anyone and waiting an hour and a half, I reach out to the delivery driver (provided by the restaurant) who said they weren’t going to deliver it. I tried to call the restaurant directly to cancel my order as it was already midnight and I came in from out of town. Someone answered briefly to tell us to hold and after 20 minutes never came back to the phone. I emailed and used their “toast” app to try and get my refund but of course no one was to be reached for a refund. I went home to Eatonton. I woke up this morning to a text saying that the pizza was left on a front porch FIVE HOURS after the order was made in the first place. I would have loved pizza that night, but communication/ availability to be contacted would have been even more valued. I feel like my $5” was basically stolen by Stoners Pizza. Highly unethical, unprofessional, unorganized and incompetent.
