I have lived in the gorge for 6 years and never knew this place existed. The food is on point, delicious, and reasonably priced. Service was wonderful, we had a very delightful and friendly host, everyone treated us very well from the time we walked in until we left. The house is set up to offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and has a nice quiet, cozy atmosphere.

If you are visiting Portland or the Hood River area and do not fit this place into your schedule, you should check your calendar because something went wrong with your schedule…The Grilled Goat Cheese and the sesame seed crusted Ahi Tuna was a taste bud’s dance of perfection across the tongue. The peppercorn filet was a very different twist on a good cut of beef. Spicy and flavorful. The finishing touch however, was the flaming bread pudding. My very favorite part of the evening however, was the service, quiet simply made you feel as if you were the only table in the place… also, please ensure that you try the house named special cocktail named for none other than Ms Shanna, herself, the Shannacolada. If you’re looking for a secluded and unique dinner spot, go check out Stonehenge Gardens! Private and spacious environment & amazing food. Service was amazing, and it was a very enjoyable experience. They were even dog friendly for outside dining, which we found hard to find at a lot of other restaurants in Hood River, especially fine dining. We loved it.

We enjoyed an intimate dining experience here. Definitely wait to hear the Specials from the host. I got the King Salmon and it was just perfect. They also have a great wine selection. They are currently not doing outdoor dining and are closed by 9 PM. Call ahead and make reservations to be safe. Definitely recommend visiting this place with your significant other though it might not be the best option if you are a vegetarian.

Not many places know how to cook salmon correctly. Stonehenge chef does! It was the best salmon I’ve had in a long time. My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly also. We will be back! Yes, we will drive almost 250 miles for an annual dinner there. Be sure to try the roasted goat cheese appetizer. We can’t wait to try their other appetizers and hopefully next time we will save room for dessert.

Highly recommend this cozy place for your special occasions. Lovely staff and amazing food. We ordered the crab cakes, their specials for entrees and cheese cake for dessert. Highly recommend the crab cakes, they just melt in your mouth.
