I ate on the tavern side at the bar top, amd was able to sit right away. Bar tender gave plenty of recommendations on popular items and I landed on a smash burger and fries. The “smash” doesnt look like the quite finished. It was a “nearly smashed” burger. It doesnt seem as though the burger wasn’t seasoned at all and the fries were also unseasoned. It seems like they’re relying on the sauce (which was quite good) to add flavor to the meat, but the beef itself was bland. After adding salt, the fries were fine. The bun to beef ratio was also way off. My patty was maybe 1/2 the size of the burger.
All in all the tavern was cool, but I probably wouldn’t order another smash burger.

Great vibes with a musician playing in the back. The publick house was definitely more calm and intimate than the tavern. The 3 course meal was wonderful. Great options and great service. The steak and shrimp were very good. Lobster bisque was delicious – my first time trying that

Neat establishment. They have a tavern area and a semi-fancy dining area. Wide variety menu in both. I was here for a late lunch/early dinner and sat at the bar in the tavern area. The bartender was very attentive and pleasant…makes a great drink too. I had the steak and cheese sandwich.

I met a friend last night for dinner. We both ordered salads. My Cobb salad was all mixed together. There was a time, couple years ago that the Cobb was amazing at Stoneforge. My salad was delivered with no eggs, huge strips of lettuce and looked like a bowl of compost. Such a rip off for 20 bucks. My friends southwest salad was the same.

My wife and I got sick before Thanksgiving and had to cancel dinner at home. Thanksgiving I was feeling better and wanted to get a couple Turkey dinners for us take out. Called 3 – 4 places with same result, reservations only or come sit at the bar which would not be fair to the people there. I asked for take out and all said no take out. Called Stone Forge, take out no problem. 2 awesome dinners at a very reasonable price. Plenty of turkey, stuffing potatoes squash and gravy. Outstanding food and enough in each takeout for 2 meals at a very reasonable price. I feel they deserve this review as they made our Thanksgiving.

The cubed potato in my delmonico potatos were uncooked. They resisted my bite similar to biting an apple. Clams casino were very good. the bacon wrapped scallops were good too but they came with a drizzle on top of a taste i wasnt expecting. Im sure the drizzle was mentioned on menu but my a.d.d didnt think of it.
If the drizzle complimented the scallops better I wouldn’t have thought anything of it. In my head scallops and bacon are damn near perfect as is. No need to spruce it up. Unless you want to shove some garnish on the side for some presentation.
Maybe some type of maple sugar on the scallops or even better that brown sugar crystal goodness they usually put on honey baked hams?
There was an awesome older musician serenading us with some timeless golden oldies which really added to the ambience.
Oh the bread was wicked good. Similar to bertuccis rolls but seemed softer and fresher.
Steaks were cooked exactly as asked.

The almond crusted chicken on salad was delicious. I personally substitute the blue cheese for goat cheese and get the balsamic vinaigrette. So good! The server was friendly and the atmosphere was perfect to catch up with friends.

We had my daughters baby shower in the public house Sunday. Everything was decorated for Christmas and looked just beautiful. Lexi was wonderful with helping plan the event , and Carol our bartender, and Amanda our Everything girl were so fantastic I could actually enjoy myself! Guests commented on how delicious the food was, and friendly the staff were. I would highly recommend having your next function there.
