Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff. Loved the seafood chowder. Taro noodles were surprisingly delicious- subbed then for linguine as gf. Beware offer to sub tarot chips for gf option instead of complimentary bread cost $7. Salmon and chicken were great. Fish in the piccata was water loved and not cooked in the lemon butter. Was good with additional lemon butter and capers. Bit pricey.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was good, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Blue Cheese Wedge with chicken was so delicious.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was welcoming, attentive without being intrusive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu.
Overall, it was a good dining experience with both great food and great service. We recommend it to others looking for a good meal.

My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was not busy, it was nice. We were seated immediately, atmosphere was nice, kinda surprised, from the outside you would never know how nice it is on the inside. We have walked by many times but never came in to eat. The service was excellent, we started with the calamari for appetizers , good flavor but very tough, I couldn’t chew it, seams like it wasn’t very fresh. We had to send it back and ordered the garlic shrimp instead. This dish was very good. The manager brought over the shrimp and asked about the calamari, we explained how it was very tough. She removed it off our bill and also gave us ten percent of the entire bill. My wife ordered the prime rib, comes with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. I ordered the fillet mignon , comes with noodles and vegetables. Meat was cooked perfectly, medium, everything could have used a bit more seasoning but it was good. I think everything was a little too expensive, even for Hawaii. I don’t think we will come back, mostly because of the price.

Food looked way better than it actually tasted. Everything came out nicely plated, but the flavor just didn’t match the presentation. We also had a pretty long wait for our food, which made it a little disappointing. Our server was okay — she seemed nice, just clearly overwhelmed and stretched thin. Overall, not terrible, but definitely not somewhere I’d rush back to. I visited the restaurant on 2/14/2026. We had what I showed in the attached photos.

I liked this place, although it was not my favorite of the Haleiwa trip. My friends got the prime rib and lamb and said it was very tasty, while I got the fish picatta. They had plenty of seating options and it was a great atmosphere. Great juices as well.

Very good bar service with friendly and attentive staff made the experience even better. The lunch special was outstanding, featuring an absolutely amazing catch of the day fish sandwich made with fresh local fish. It was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and easily worth coming back for again.

Cannot say enough good about this restaurant. I ordered a seafood omelet, my wife got the Malasada pancakes and we split a fresh fruit bowl. This meal might have been the best breakfast we have ever had. We love trying new little breakfast places and this one takes the cake! Everything about it was fantastic! Service was informative and helpful. Our food was made quickly and we had great view of the streets during the quiet morning.

I cannot say enough good things about Stonefish Grill! The service from the second we walked in the door to the time we left was impeccable! Very Friendly and just perfect in every way! And the food was amazing! Highly recommend the rock shrimp appetizer! If you’re thinking about stopping in, stop thinking and just go! You’ll be happy you did!

Decent restaurant with a very friendly staff. Some choices were a hit or a miss on the lunch menu. Kids meals were a little pricey for what we got, but overall it was a fun environment for them. Just the right noise level that they weren’t disturbing others.
I got the seafood chowder and it was the highlight of the meal. We also tried the Chicken Caprese Sandwich and the Fish and Chips. Both of which weren’t great.
The kids mac and cheese was very good.
The staff was also friendly.
I will say, of the options over here, this is a decent choice, but nothing inspiring.

Flies flies everywhere were flies….we sat inside by a window and both our table and the table behind us spent half our time trying to protect our food from the flies. At one point, there might have been 15-20 on the windows and then another 5 or 6 swarming the table.
The food was pretty good, but it took us almost 60 minutes to actually order and get 2 BLAT sandwiches, a burger and an order of kids chicken fingers. The server was slammed, so it wasn’t really her fault….she was super nice, but it was just incredibly slow.
The 2nd glass of wine I got came and it looked like a chardonnay instead of the pinot origin I had just had. When I asked her about it, she confirmed it was the same wine, but when I tasted it it became obvious it was very different. Due to the slow service, I opted to take it to the bar myself where the bartender argued it was the same wine. When he finally agreed to pur a new glass, he agreed it wasn’t the same / right wine & then blamed the server for picking up the wrong glass.
All in all it was OK, but certainly not worth $165 before tip for 2 kids meals, 2 BLAT sandwiches and 4 cheap glasses of wine.
If you want good food, for a good value in a clean and efficient setting….you should go elsewhere, at least based on this experience. I will say, this was our one (and probably only) tome we have been here or will ever go here again, so it could have been an off day….it might be better on another day, but this was just our experience!
