STAY AWAY If I could give ZERO I would normally I would just accept the Mediocre-meal because it affects your time out The perch fish was so terrible. It was either raw or some other
foreign item within the fillet look at the photo. I started getting sick at 3 AM and it has continued. It’s now noon. This is so bad I’m calling the health department Monday on this place. Please read one of the things that’s most disappointing is not once in all the negative comments, does this establishment respond. This is a huge red flag. You can’t call on the telephone. I tried. They’re going to hurt somebody if they keep under cooking their food or whatever bacteria was in this that caused me to be ill.

Loved it. It’s huge and well designed. We had our Inaugural Heart Of Wisconsin Radio Reunion there January 9, 2026. First time there. I’m impressed.

What a great place to visit, eat, and socialize. Food was spectacular, friendly bar servers, very clean and modern atmosphere. TVs and sports galore. We have gone past this bar & grill for years, what a have I been missing. We are definitely coming back.

The service was fine, good, then once food was delivered, not around to check on us. A friendly young man waited on our group of 4. The food all looked good. I was disappointed from the first bite of the battered haddock. It was actually cool, like it had been fried some time ago, and wet inside, so not at all appetizing, tried a second piece, same. The potato and slaw were good. I wouldn’t order fish again, and that is my favorite dine out choice.

We’ve gone here in the past and never really had any problems. We went recently and we typically have a couple drinks while we wait for our food (we did carry out). We hadn’t even finished our first drink and the lady that brought our food says “here’s your receipt, everything should be there and drinks are on there so I can take your payment” I was like oh ok I guess we’re done then. After spending $120 and feeling like our business didn’t matter we left upset. So ultimately Stone Toad, we would’ve spent more money at your establishment if your employee learned some customer service skills. Then we get home to find that not only was the food horrible this time (not sure if they got a different cook) but it was horrible and tasteless, fish was over cooked; they didn’t give us a baked potato that came with one of our meals and didn’t give us one of the salads that came with our meal. For saying our food was all there and rushing us out, they failed. We won’t be returning. Overall it was a horrible experience. We’ll find somewhere else to spend our money.

Had some good food but my steak sandwich came out pretty under. They remade it and were very apologetic along with got a small discount. Would still go back!

This was a huge disappointment. Wouldn’t even give 1 star but that’s the only option. Half of one would be more accurate. Starting with the unfriendly staff that wouldn’t even look at you. Burger was asked to be medium but was raw and not evenly cooked. French dip was a .59¢ pack of budding beef that wasn’t even separated to make it look like it was something better. Asked for side of ranch and waitress came to table and slammed it on the table and walked away. Really bad food. Didn’t even eat half of it. Hope we don’t get sick. Never would go back.

The ribs here are fantastic! I also enjoyed the potato salad and chili. The steak was very tender but more seasoning is needed, quite bland. We ordered cheese pizza for the kids but because it had green seasoning on top, they didn’t want it. We had to scrape it off. You could sell more in the long run if that wasn’t the case, in my opinion. More kids would eat it. It tasted good to me regardless. Overall, I’m impressed.
