We went to see Dave Kopec playing acoustic music with his bandmates Adam and Kara.
Stone & Rail was new for us so we didn’t know what to expect.
The food was sort of unique and really good. The atmosphere was dim lit and cool. The service was exceptional.
It’s a much bigger restaurant than it looks like from the outside.
‘Definitely a sweet venue for live music and fabulous food!
If you’re looking for a casual place to relax and have fun, the bar has televisions everywhere.
We’re looking forward to going back again. The menu has quite a variety of delicious choices.
Give it a try! I recommend the fish and chips.
Thank you Stone and Rail. We’ll be back.

Stone and Rail was the perfect place for my special birthday luncheon! Lauren went above and beyond helping us to plan the perfect afternoon, including all the little touches like the ability to pick the color of the table linens, planning special menus, setting up a pre-prepared slideshow, and our own music selection to play throughout the afternoon. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect! I could not have picked a better place for my birthday gathering!

Had a nice time this weekend at our dinner-time visit. It was very hard to talk because it was very loud- not just the music but the general noise. We were seated very close to the people next to us and I felt like we had no privacy. The cocktail I ordered (signature spicy margarita) was very good. Food was good. I got the hot honey pizza and crispy brussels and my husband got the short rib grilled cheese. Yummy! Service was good- nothing groundbreaking but good. The band That’s What She Sang was great- very appropriate for the venue with a nice sound.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice once for my sister’s baby shower and this most recent time was for my friend’s bridal shower. They were both held in the same room which was decent sized for our parties. Staff was very attentive and even willing to help us set up. Food was good both parties had different themes that were offered by the restaurant, baby shower was brunch themed and the bridal shower was burgers. Drinks were made well. Bathrooms were clean. I would definitely suggest this restaurant for other events!

Do not come to this restaurant for brunch!! The service is bad, the food is mediocre, and the portions are small for most dishes.
The chicken and waffles are good, but is just one waffle and one piece of chicken.
The eggs Benedict is terrible, as not only are the portions small, but the eggs were hard boiled and there was a lot of yellow/wilted arugula with it.
Steak dishes were not cooked at the desired rareness, and it was cold. It was also rubbery as well.
Wait time was long, the waiter didn’t even pick up the menus after ordering, and the water tastes like soap water. It is also hard to flag the waiters. There is also a train right by the restaurant, so it is loud.
The recent change in management and the chef may be the reason why this restaurant still has 4 stars, but this is a terrible place for food.

Been there a few times over the past few months and enjoyed it every time. Once was with my wife and we had a very nice dinner, the food has been great. The beer selection is excellent also. The other times were for Workingman’s Wednesday, their newish Grateful Dead night and that has been so much fun! Thanks so much to Matt and the staff for allowing me to juggle!

Great location near one of the commuter train stops. Close to the downtown area, plenty of ample parking. The service was great!! We ordered beer flights of four from their draft selections. ” Orange Crushing it and Drinking Crayons” was two of our favorites. The food menu has a great selection from salads, soup, steaks, and burgers. We had the burgers they are huge!!
They have a daily happy hour menu with cocktail drinks and appetizers. The bar area has plenty of seating. They have high tables for seating and booths, too. There’s an area upstairs for seating, too, and outdoors. Well worth the drive for the beer and food along with the great service. Thanks, Charlie

I recently had a work event there. I held it in their private room and after our presentation was done we went upstairs to their loft. I can’t say enough good things about the team at Stone and Rail. Everything went smoothly, my guests had a great time, the food and service were great. I will be back!
