Recently ordered a Margherita Pizza and a Cheesesteak, first time ordering for Stone Mill. I was blown away with how good the cheesesteak was the pizza was excellent – they used a high quality sauce and you could taste it.
Overall, I was very happy with the food, service and how clean they kept their shop..
Will def be ordering again!

While visiting Wilmington for a basketball tournament, we stumbled upon Stonemill Pizza—and wow, what a find. As a born-and-raised New Yorker, I don’t say this lightly: this is genuinely some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.
The crust was spot on, the sauce had real flavor, and the balance was perfect. On top of that, the wings were absolutely top-notch—crispy, flavorful, and cooked exactly right.
If you’re anywhere near Wilmington and care about great pizza (especially if you’ve got New York standards), this place is a must-visit. We’ll 100% be back next time we’re in town.

We live on the west coast and head out to Hockessin every year for a few weeks. There is no Pizza in the Hockessin or Wilmington area that I have had that is better than this place. The dough is absolutely phenomenal. The crust is perfect. Highly recommend this place for anybody that is looking for better Pizza than the two usual places in Hockessin.

Second time here because after the first I couldn’t get this pizza out of my head. Got mushroom medley and prosciutt’ o happiness. Wish I wasn’t an hour away! I’ve worked pizzas in CT and these guys do it right.
It’s not the stiff cracker bottom that some places seek but their style deserves a place at the table- the incredible ingredients, the chew, the crispy char bits. Keep it up!!!

Every single time we go, the food is phenomenal. Ask Danny how he makes his doughs and you will understand just how passionate he is about his recipes. They are not a vegan pizza shop but make amazing vegan pizzas using vegan cheese and whatever toppings you wish.

This is my go-to spot when I am in the mood for pizza, period. Their seasonal pizzas, slices of the day, as well as the house classics (like “Prociutt’ of Happiness”) are all wonderful, but I was absolutely blown away by the complexity of the flavor of their cheese pizza when I had it for the first time. They also make wholesome sourdough bread and focaccia (it’d be good to call them to make sure they have them, though).
The staffs are all kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is great, so I bring friends and people from work here often. I hope that you give them a try when you are nearby!
