Stopped at Stone Grill & Tap House on our way to Baltimore and had a solid, overall decent experience.

The location is in a business district attached to other shops, and when we visited it was pretty quiet just a handful of other people inside. The space itself is much larger than it looks from the outside. We sat at the bar, which was comfortable and easy.

We ordered drinks, shared a crab pretzel, and each had a Caesar salad. My margarita was very tequila-forward not subtle, but honestly fine if you like tequila (I do). The crab pretzel was good, though the crab dip could’ve used more Old Bay to really bring it home. That said, the Caesar salad was the standout absolutely delicious and easily the best thing we ordered.

Pricing felt fair. My bill was $55.01 for two side Caesar salads, a shared crab pretzel, and two drinks. For two people, that’s pretty average and reasonable for the area.

Everything we had was good and the experience was pleasant overall.

New owners, who cares. Is it the same kitchen? So I’m going to be a little brutal because more than one of our dishes was mediocre. All I’m going to say is the beer selection is good. Everything else except the waiter was pretty much not worth coming back. First, the Korean pork tacos were good with just the meat and crema, the slaw made the taco taste medicinal. Awful. Why is THERE FRIED BANANAS on the plate? Doesn’t make any sense. The Arugula salad had more flavor than the tacos. There was a flavor in there very undesirable. I couldn’t finish 1 and 1/2 of 3 tacos. The “seared” tuna appetizer wasn’t even seared, barely cooked on the outside, not warmed after the initial cook, tasted almost thawed from frozen. Very sad. The French dip was underseasoned and missing lots of salt. The chicken parmesean was good, I only liked the chicken, the pasta was made ok, the sauce tasted like pizza sauce and super thick. I won’t be going back here for the food. Maybe only the Happy hour drinks, because the prices are decent and apps.

This was my first time here a new years day dinner with family. I love the atmosphere and we were happy that a place would be open on the 1st. I love the stone wall there is a certain comfort on a cold night to see that. Our lovely waitress was awesome answering our every question and making great suggestions. We started with potstickers and wings both nicely done. For entrees we had the roasted chicken which tasted good but honestly did not look like it had any color from roasting. The crab cake was good as well as the beef tacos. All in all we enjoyed the food and the casual atmosphere.

Stopped for the first time last evening . Got the pierogies, and OMG were they amazing. Also got the cream of crab soup and it wad out of this world so thick and creamy . And we also got the Barb que burger and ohhh that was just as amazing as the other items . Had been seated in the whiskey room very quaint and quieter than the main bar area . Really enjoyed sitting in this section. The barmaid Randi I think her name was . Totally helpful and definitely on point . Made our first visit here a reason for us to visit again . Will definitely be back .

We had stopped going to Stone Grill because it was awful. I read the restaurant had been sold to the owners of Copper Crust.(Yum) We have dined 3 times since change of ownership. So good now! The menu appears to be slowly changing. A good thing! Drinks are poured with care. Food is excellent. Highly recommend trying the restaurant especially if you are like us and had stopped patronizing the restaurant.

I love the experience I had here. We got the meat pizza which was perfect for 2 people. The pizza was also delicious. The background music was a great selection of old music including classical. I was there during the Christmas season, and I didn’t hear the endless Christmas music which was appreciated. All in all, I enjoyed the whole experience.

Decided to try again after change of ownership. Previous visits the food has been OK, beer selection always good. Can’t speak on the restaurant side renovation, as we went into the smaller side bar. That’s a nice space. Slow service with two bartenders, one working the floor and one on the bar, but still it was slow even after some of the dinner rush cleared. Two meals- one salad where the greens had seen better days, and my partner did not even come close to finishing the plate due to the distaste. I got a burger, which was just meh, small side of fries. This however was the main problem- about 4 hours later I had a violent gastrointestinal attack that lasted through the night. Not a great experience for sure. Would I go back? probably not after that.

The Burgers here are GREAT! We love the Frenchy as well as the Jalapeno but there are others to try. We were hoping the Pizza would match the Copper Crust (the new owners other establishment) but it does not, at least to this point. We had ordered on a previous visit the Margareta and it was very bland and did not have the Great Basil Pesto oil drizzle that is used at the CC. But having said that would highly recommend Stone Grille as the Food, Service and Friendliness of staff is excellent!

This place was pretty good overall. The food was top notch. The chowder mix was fantastic, the tacos were great, and even the buffalo chicken wrap was good. Fries were crispy and delicious.
Drinks were a bit steep, and took forever to arrive at the table. Like 8 minutes per round, and our small family was one of maybe 4 sets of diners in the place. That’s really the only gripe.
