Good pizza spot, fresh cut veggies and toppings plentiful. Service was nice and accommodating. Wings were the best!

CONSISTENT AT BEING INCONSISTENT!

Good tasting pizza with lots of potential. However their downfall lies in everything except their taste and content. It’s pretty upsetting when your order is correct only every other time. Let alone, their timeliness is awful. Don’t expect to get your order in under 90 minutes if you order online. The last three times my girlfriend and I have ordered (we just moved and are unpacking frequently), our estimated arrival time has exceeded an hour past what is stated in my email. It was annoying enough that each time we asked for extra ranch that they failed to bring any at all.

I have had my own quarrels with food delivery apps such as Eat 24 and Door Dash in Silicon Valley, but tonight took the cake. We ordered a Meat Lover’s Pizza with olives, mushrooms, and pineapples as supplementary toppings. As seen in the photo below, the order was taken at 7:49pm. I eventually called in at 9:20 to check on the order status and was assured that my pizza was being boxed up and heading out the door. It wasn’t until about 45 minutes later that we received our order at 10:02, more than two hours after my order was placed. We tried to be understanding about a worker calling in sick, but it was pretty far insulting when we discovered after our delivery woman left us with a pizza that we had a MeatLESS Lovers Pizza that only consisted only of the extra toppings. Did I mention that again there was still no ranch that was given to us? But as if things couldn’t get any worse, the front desk person named Crystal had the audacity to call back and apologetically disclose to us that her driver could not find our address unaware of the fact that we already got the pizza. It was a true slap to the face that she had no accountability for not only our order, but also mixing up another person’s pizza at the expense of her confused driver. Our address isn’t that hard to find by the way because we live on Hidden Valley Road.

Looking back on it all, not only did we waste our entire night waiting in a hungry abhorrence, but we have ultimately lost faith in a small town pizza joint that has shown the most horrific display of professionalism I have encountered worldwide. If it weren’t for the taste, I would truly drop this down to a 1 star rating. But since we are limited on choices, a 1.5 star should suffice.

After I use up my next pizza credit that will probably be late and again without the $1 ranch we are still being cheated on, I can honestly say tonight’s refund will not be enough to buy back my confidence in Stone Fire Pizza.

CALL AHEAD!!!! Unless you wanna wait one hour for a small pizza! And go ahead and wait another 30-45 minutes for your order to be ready on top of your estimated ready time. Wings are flavorful and crispy but very small.

Being new to the area we had to try out the local pizza joint, and much to our delight, found out it is excellent!!
Service was very good, friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was good, plenty of televisions to keep up on the current sports and arcade for extra entertainment. Good beer selection and at a good price. And most importantly, the pizza was an A+ in my book! Fresh toppings and a delicious crisp crust with corn meal on the bottom. The pepperoni was the small circles with crisp edges, my favorite! I’ll be coming back here regularly.

Hidden Valley Location: Great pizza and appetizers if you pick up or eat there. We have their food several times per month. I want to give them 5 stars BUT…. their method for delivery is awful. Their process is to make your pizza as soon as you call (that takes 25-30 mins) but THEN it sits the entire rest of the time, sometimes upwards of 45 minutes, depending on how “quickly” their ONE delivery driver can deliver it. On several occasions we have waited 2 hrs for our food to arrive, meaning our pizza sat for 90 minutes before we got it. (We live less than 10 mins. away). Pizza and breadsticks arrive cold, soggy (or sometimes rock hard) and are no longer worth the $80 + $6 delivery fee it cost. I’ll wait 2 hours, but bring me fresh food!! The weekend/night shift manager is excellent at listening to concerns and has apologized that they don’t have more delivety drivers, but they shouldn’t offer delivery if they cannot deliver food warm and fresh. When it is derived within 50 minutes of ordering, as it was the time I called and spoke to the manager, it is also just as good as eating there! I wish it could be that way every time.

This place is a great hometown pizza joint. The food is good and the atmosphere is fun and lively. They have plenty of televisions for watching sporting events and there’s also a small gaming area for children. They have several types of draft beer including some craft beer to choose from. All in all I give this the place the okay. The only bias I have and it is a personal bias. Is that I like New York style flat pizza. While many places in California attempt to get this, none can quite do it. All the rest of the food and everything is great. Just a personal bias about the pizza.

This is hands down the best, crunchiest crust I’ve ever had. Nice and cheesy, lots of toppings. Service was excellent. 10/10 would go again.
