I would love to give them a 5 star overall rating, as its a place my family and I have frequently purchased from. We love the food and all they have to offer, but last night I left there incredibly upset. I recently gave birth to twins who are suffering from severe reflux. Because of this, I cannot have any dairy and I really have to limit soy as well. When this first started, they informed me there was cheese in their pizza sauce, but they could substitute their marinara sauce on their pizza to accommodate this for me. We’ve ordered this a few times now, and its been amazing! My boys don’t have a reaction and I get to enjoy a little bit of the comfort food I love. Well, last night they informed me they will no longer be able to accommodate this because opening a new jar of sauce is too expensive and too inconvenient for them. There was no solution offered, no possibility of an upcharge, nothing. Just a sorry, its too inconvenient. As a busy mom of 3 under 2, who loves supporting local businesses, and who is also navigating an incredibly challenging postpartum situation, having a place to quickly grab dinner from that is delicious and also accommodating to our needs, has truly been the highlight of some of our days. Unfortunately now I will have to add this to our list of places we can no longer order from or support, which truly breaks my heart. I say all of this because if you have any type of dietary restrictions, it will likely be too inconvenient or difficult for them to accommodate.

Finally a new pizza place on Lake Milton. We ordered a little of everything and they did not disappoint!! The wings, pepperoni rolls, pizza, cheese sticks, and calzone were all amazing. Well cooked and loaded with cheese!! The sandwich was HUGE and loaded then toasted to perfection. Their prices are so much more reasonable than others offer locally. Oh and my granddaughter loves the dinosaur decorations inside!! Oh I do need to add their employees are very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient answering all my questions!!!

Alright, he’s deal. The pizza taste was actually really good and so were the boneless wings. We got 5 toppings on our pizza, all were good. Just a couple small complaints. The sauce on the pizza was a little too thin along with the bottom dough. Those things combined made it to where the toppings, including the cheese, fell right off the bottom of the pizza. Also, our pizza wasn’t cut all the way for any of the pieces, so we’re had to re cut the whole thing, but it’s not like that’s hard. The boneless wings had good taste but, they sat in a watery sauce that could definitely be a lot thicker or a lesser amount. All in all, the taste is there, that’s for sure. They just need to correct a few small things.
The inside of the place was actually pretty cool. The lady at the counter was super nice and the whole place is decorated with dinosaurs and she even gave my 2 girls little Dino toys to take home.
I would definitely try this place again with the understanding the smaller issues were fixed.

So much more affordable than similar restaurants around here. Also the customer service is UNMATCHED! It is so hard to find good service anymore and at Stone Age they are so welcoming and friendly! The food was amazing and we will definitely be back soon! I will be telling everyone I know about Stone Age!

They did originally make us the wrong type of pizza and didn’t realize it til I got home but most of that I think was my step dad’s fault cause he talks to much and is confusing lol but I called took it back and explained what I actually wanted and they made it perfectly correct and apologized and didn’t charge us. The pizza tasted AMAZING. MY NEW FAV SPOT FOR PIZZA. MY DAUGHTERS LOVED IT TOO

Nice little joint. It too busy inside. But the pizza was good. If we lived slightly closer we might order from here. They definitely need more staff.

So a couple days ago, I picked up an order to deliver through DoorDash and, per DD’s instructions, I was to verify that the order was correct, and I had to open each box and check the accuracy of the order.
I had never had to do that before with anyone’s order, but boy, am I glad I had to on this occasion because, one, I’d never heard of Stone Age Pizza in Lake Milton and, two, what I saw in those boxes were nothing short of amazing-looking pizzas, a veggie pizza and a cheese pizza on New York style crust.
I called my fiancé and asked her if she’d ever heard of the pizzeria and she said she hadn’t, and I told her it looked so good that I’d love to try it sometime. Well, last night, we did and, funny enough, the young lady at the counter thought I was there to do another DD order when, in fact, I was there to order for me and my fiancé. We got a veggie pizza and a bacon pizza cooked well done on New York style crust.
I met the owner of the shop, who was so incredibly nice and we had a great conversation for about ten minutes about the recipe he used for his sauce, the importing of the cheese and so forth, and I was pretty blown away. I love meeting people who own these types of businesses and show, through verbiage, their true pride for their work. This gentleman is no exception.
Obviously, the ultimate test was to begin when I got home so we could have dinner, and not only did the pizza look as good as it did the day prior, the taste was absolutely excellent and, by far, the best pizza I’ve had since moving to the Mahoning Valley from Cincinnati.
I never call anyone personally to tell them how good their food is, but that’s exactly what I did last night, and it was further suggested I write a review here, and here it is.
Y’all, if you love pizza and want good, quality pizza, and you’re in or around the Mahoning Valley, you must do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this award-winning pizza. You will not come even close to being sorry.
