THE best coffee shop in Colorado. Tons of variety, local as can be, and an atmosphere you can’t beat. Jan, the owner, has old-fashioned milkshake machines for a perfect summer treat, and the espresso drinks are always pulled fresh and hot; the flavor is without contest. Tons of food options; snacks, lunch, breakfast, and brunch are all included, often times with delicious specials. Great music, great company, and all around a great time.

This is a nice little place in Beulah to stop for coffee or a sandwich. Plenty of selections. Reasonable prices and good parking.

The food is OK, not plentiful, but OK. The prices are just acceptable for the amount of food you receive. For breakfast, it’s mostly breakfast sandwiches or a breakfast burrito. For lunch, expect a selection of sandwiches that come with chips, basic nachos or quesadillas, and they may have pizza too. Not a lot of home-cooking here, but there are plenty of coffees and teas. The owner is apparently into topics related to the “woke” crowd and has literature about that as well as Eastern religions for patrons to read while they wait (for a long time) to receive their food. This is a 1-person-does-all kind of place, so service is very slow. I won’t go out of my way to return.

I stopped into Stompin’ Grounds Coffee for the first time today. The manager lady (who herself was not wearing a mask) asked me if I had a mask that I could wear, I said “no”, it is not currently a state requirement (only recommended), I hate wearing a mask, I certainly would not wear a mask while drinking coffee (and the mask would be ineffective anyway, if I did) inside the coffee shop, and I definitely have no interest sitting outside the coffee shop drinking my coffee in the hot Colorado sun. Too bad, Stompin’ Grounds.

The place was so welcoming and the sandwiches and drinks were wonderful! The staff treated us like family the moment we walked in and the pleasant atmosphere only grew as we stayed with our newborn daughter to eat. I highly recommend this place for a nice bite or drink. Definitely going to become a regular!

Want to sit and chat with some locals? Perfect. Sandwiches. Breakfast burritos. Shakes and smoothies. And of course great coffee drinks. It’s a hippie place. Leave the sidearm in the car. And make sure to bring cash, unless you want a local to volunteer to pay your bill.

I’ve never been anywhere like this! Jan the owner is great. It’s like taking a step back in time. My only regret about going to The Stompin Grounds is that I didn’t find it sooner. It’s not a fast cookie cutter coffee shop/cafe where you’re a number, Jan makes you feel like family. Prepare to breathe, relax, and spend a bit of time. Food is fab, she makes everything herself, and coffee is super. You can eat outside or in. There’s a community jigsaw puzzle in the winter months and lots of games and books. She also sells some really cool antiques. And Ladies…make sure you take a look at the women’s bathroom!

Cozy and friendly with a great atmosphere. I like the fresh salsa and fresh salads. We’ve also enjoyed the quesadillas. One of my favorite places to escape for a good meal or snack. Definitely feels like time traveling in a good way. I also like the selection of interesting reading material. We plan to return again very soon. Thank You.

Cozy little “hippie” joint. Food was very good owner/cook was a little scattered but worth the wait. She does have several signs warning of long ticket times. Go to relax and hangout, don’t be in a hurry
