This was our first time dining here. I had the catfish combo and my husband had the whole fish supper. The fish was very good. The shrimp were seasoned well. The sweet tea was on point and I am a sweet tea aficionado. Not all restaurants understand what a good southern sweet tea is, this restaurant does.
The fried green tomatoes were among the best I’ve had. I would not recommend the sweet potato fries. I wasn’t a fan. My husband enjoyed the whole fish as well. What was unexpectedly delicious were the hush puppies.

Service was excellent!

Only gave 3 stars to atmosphere because of the bench style tables.

This place is famous with the locals and there’s good reason for it. Great catfish, great food, and grateful service… as long as you understand why and what you came for. This is simple country dining done right. Just don’t make the mistake and order the fish filets… it’s the whole fried catfish that’s gonna hit the spot. It’s a little tricky to avoid the bones… but it’s soooo delicious! (The fish filets are good too!)

Fantastic! One of my favorite restaurants!!! If you order onion rings or fried pickles be warned it is A LOT and plenty to share with the table.

Very poor service. Waited 45 minutes after ordering before asking how much longer before our food would be out. We were told “we have a party of 40 in the back we need to serve”. Our order had not even been started. We chose to leave.

Amazing thin fried catfish! Remember to bring cash they charge $2 extra to use your card.

Food was bland or too salty. The best thing on the plate was the canned bbq beans. 1 and done… I’m from New Orleans, so I know all about great seafood.

The fried catfish was quite possibly the best I’ve ever eaten. The seasoning was decent, but the texture was amazing. Every bite had the absolute perfect crunch, followed by a savory melt in your mouth finish. The shrimp were good and the oysters were ok, but the fish stole the show and will certainly bring you back for more. Very nice staff with a hometown feel.

The fish was small but they give you several with the fish fillet dinner. I pulled the outside of the fish off bc it was all breading. The coleslaw was good and the fries basic. It’s an average fish camp.

My chicken tender breading was soggy from the grease and was falling off . It was also so hot in the back room I could hardly enjoy myself because of it. Sad the food isn’t good as it use to be when I was a kid. The fish was also very greasy and soggy

Absolutely, some of the best catfish, hushpuppies, and hamburger steak my wife and I have ever had. A small hole in the wall but absolutely a 5 star dining experience. Don’t pass it by without stopping in. Worth every penny, not to say it’s expensive at all.
