You get out of your vehicle and immediately smell the stockyard. That didn’t surprise me. However, what did was that the odor was also inside the restaurant. Thankfully, within a few minutes, I adjusted and no longer noticed it. The salad bar was basic. My “medium rare” ribeye was overdone-no red and very little pink. Ironically, my table mate ordered the same steak cooked the same way and his was perfect. The service was excellent. Price was fair.

Great food and very nice staff. Our waitress (I didn’t catch her name) was so great and a couple of times talked with our very grouchy toddler and was so sweet. Food was very good and when they offer you bread skip on white or wheat and go for brown bread ( I think it was Belgian bread). Atmosphere was nice and comfortable.

Stopped here on our way by and absolutely loved it. I had the special chicken sandwich which was amazing. Chicken was cooked perfect and tasted nice and fresh. All the food we had came out tasting great. Service was a little slow but the waitress was super nice. Highly recommend.

I am so disappointed!!!! I had heard about this restaurant a few weeks ago when I had mentioned to a coworker that I was really wanting a good steak. So, we drove 20 some miles and I paid almost $30 for my meal and it was TERRIBLE!!! The prime rib was SO salty and fatty which made it almost inedible. I also ordered it medium rare and it was well done. The service wasn’t that great either.

Bread was good. Horse fritter appetizer was good. Service was very good. Atmosphere was cozy. Ribeye steak was average. Everybody deserves a second chance, so I will be back. If they want my long-term business, steak must be better than average.

Beef tips were tiny and had quite a bit of grizzle. Vegetables on the side were cold on arrival. Expect orders to arrive an hour after you order. Serving of the food and drinks were a bit chaotic. Barely 2 stars. Onion rings were hot.

Great food and atmosphere. Try to avoid going on a Tuesday though…unless you like the smell of cow manure while eating. They have their cattle sales every Tuesday. Other then that it’s a very good place to eat!
