We loved this place! (Sorry about the shrimp and steak pic… we split our plates.) The New York Strip was almost the best I’ve ever eaten…(my husband’s cooking only tops this steak.) The Special: Honey Battered Shrimp was amazing!!!! The lava cake with ice cream…mmm mmm good. The tea…well, we’re from the south…so it wasn’t Southern sweet tea….but it wasn’t bad either. The waitress was sweet and attentive. I would definitely return and recommend ❤️

Best steak i have had in years. Fastest service i have had in years if not ever. Cheap cocktails and wine.The bottle of redwine cost maybe $2 to $4 more than what I would have paid for it at the wine store. The steaks were top of the world. Here is a place where you eat with the people who raise the cows that you eat. I felt so relaxed.

This is a great place to stop and get some rest. The atmosphere inside is nice, and there’s a bar if that’s something you’re interested in — especially if you’re planning to stay overnight nearby. I ordered a baked potato with brisket to go, and it was really good. There are a couple of spots available for semi trucks, not sure about overnight. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks!

My husband and I travel all over the US for business. We were passing through Broadus, MT and stopped by Stockman’s on Sept 12, 2025 to have dinner without knowing anything about this restaurant.
Oh my goodness, WOW, this was the best steak we have ever had in our lives, not kidding!
I had the Prime Rib special and he has the New York steak, the meat was cooked to perfection, they were flavorful and so delicious we enjoyed our dinner very much and the sides were delicious also! The food was so good, I had to write a review, very impressed with the food at Stockmans. In addition, they also had homemade desserts to choose from, which we had to try.
I also want to add, our waitress Vanessa was amazing too! She was friendly, very attentive, funny and so, so kind! Thank you Vanessa for taking such good care of us that night!
We will definitely be back when we are in Montana, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Just passing through last September. Had the dog along, so just got take-out for lunch. Absolutely delicious beef! If I am ever within a hundred miles of Broadus again, I will detour through to enjoy it again.

Local water hole. I Was just traveling through stopped by for dinner ordered the Ribeye with bake potato and Corn. Several local cowboys sitting at the bar talking cattel strategies and so on. Very cool atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again if I’m every back in the area.

Stopped by this place on Highway 212 — what a gem! It’s got a truly authentic vibe, full of real American spirit. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food? Absolutely delicious! As a truck driver, I always look for spots where I can enjoy a good meal and take a real break — and this place hit the mark perfectly. It was a fantastic choice, and I’ll be more than happy to stop here again. Places like this make the road feel a little more like home.
