We love Stobys in our family. The actual facility was clean (clean, but didn’t smell like cleaner!! Huge plus). The food was hot and fresh and tasted delicious. The food is seasoned but not heavy, leaving room for the consumer to use salt and pepper to their personal desire. My favorite is the breakfast burrito with the in hpuse cheese sauce. Absolutely delicious when there is minimal places for breakfast burritos in the state of Arkansas. My husband and I like to go here for good food, large portions and fantastic prices with incredible service. We always recommend this as our number 1 breakfast spot.

We were there before the football game at Tech. It’s a favorite of ours from when our daughters were students at tech because it’s so close. Service was great and we got to sit in the train part, my grandson loved it! I ordered the turkey croissant and it was delicious!

First time eating here for lunch following some family courthouse business. Absolutely earns is reputation as a great place to eat. Our group of four had a fantastic lunch here, with varied choices that were all great. We could see why this restaurant has been so popular for so long. A great experience from wait staff to food quality and taste. We’ll be back!

A good little diner with a variety of options. My club fine, but not the best I’ve had. Chicken tenders were good. Fries were probably the best part of the meal. I’m not a big pie guy to begin with but I felt like I needed to try one. It was fine but again, not a pie guy, so I wouldn’t reorder one.

Terrible
Dear Stobys of russellville
Do better!! I just paid $26 for the stoby, large cheese dip and 2 teas. This sandwich look like it came from the dumpster and really kinda taste that way barely any meat and still yet to find the 2 pieces of cheese on it. Its a shame to send slop out like this to folks! I mean I get its lunch hour and your busy BUT also the folks your feeding work hard to pay for the slop you just sent out!
Rant over! Pissed off!

I ordered the Cuban sandwich because I saw it on a Billboard. And unfortunately, the description of the sandwich and what was provided to me were not the same. I kept trying to like it halfway through the sandwich and I realized it was because of something being sweet. That shouldn’t have been on there. I didn’t enjoy the barbecue sauce. Being put on there, so I asked to see the menu and the menu doesn’t state that barbecue sauce would be on it. So I think that’s what happened. There were just too many different flavors going on other than that. The service was great and they were nice enough. 12, not make me pay for the sandwich. Due to the fact that it was not explained that the barbecue sauce shouldn’t have been on there. I appreciated that and I will be back

Fun place to have lunch after a trip to the courthouse. Good food, good service and neat atmosphere. They have part of a dining car in the building! I had the PBJ hamburger with fries. Unexpected combination but I will definitely do it again! Phyllis had a turkey chef’s salad.

I love Stoby’s! We live in Conway but the Stoby’s there is always too busy when we decide to go on the weekend. So glad we were in Russellville to stop in for a late lunch. We shared a cheese dip and Ruben with fries. So good and enough food for both of us.

Christmas Eve, we stopped on a whim (having visited the Conway location countless times through the decades). We were accommodated quickly and given a seat in the train car. Our waitress, a veteran of some 12 years, was as friendly and attentive as she could be and worked quite diligently to see that everything was as it should be. The food was first rate; although, we did notice that the original recipe cheese dip seemed thicker than we recall. Perhaps this was an anomaly, or perhaps our memory fails us; likewise, it is possible though unlikely that the recipe has indeed been altered.
At any rate, the thing that compelled me to leave this glowing review is what follows: Our daughter had collected a rusty piece of train track (or the detritus thereof) from behind the restaurant before coming in to sit with us; she had washed it and swaddled it in a napkin, and then, alas, left it behind. By the time she realized it was missing, we were in the car, and the table, we knew, had been cleared. Nevertheless, when I returned to inquire about the missing souvenir, our dear waitress—without hesitation—went to retrieve it. The item was quickly and kindly returned to us in a pristine wrapping, presumably having been retrieved from the rubbish bin, and our daughter’s spirit was revived immediately and in full measure!
Meanwhile, another patron who was seated no more than three (or at most four) minutes prior to this was heard loudly and angrily demanding that the waitress “bring some cheese dip”—as though the waitress was derelict, which could not be farther from the truth. It reminded me how wanton some of our fellow humans can be and with what disregard and selfishness they approach those who we too often take for granted. Those that serve—and serve well—are saints and should be regarded as such and treated with the utmost consideration and patience. Shame on us when we forget this primary principle.

I cut the corner going to the gym and saw the rail car on the side of the restaurant. I thought “Well you don’t see that everyday, I should go over and investigate.” I walked through the door and they had trains running across the ceiling and through the walls, it was like a scene from Inception (Trains inside of trains, I loved it) The grilled chicken sandwich plate has been perfected, with juicy chicken, fresh vegetables, and thick cut pepper bacon. Served with a side of fries and a delicious sweet tea it was the perfect solution to a hot day. Tala my waitress was a pleasure to talk to and a tremendous server (And she was better looking than the food I don’t know how she does it). Stoby’s was worth every penny and will be on my radar everytime I return to Russellville.
