I had an amazing experience at STK! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant, upscale, and full of energy — the perfect mix of fine dining and a fun night out.
The food was absolutely incredible. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, and the sides were just as impressive. Everything came out beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked.
What truly made the night exceptional was our server, Jeff. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Jeff made fantastic recommendations, checked in at the perfect times, and made sure our entire table felt taken care of. His professionalism and personality elevated the whole experience.

As someone who works in front-of-house hospitality in NYC, I rarely leave negative reviews because I understand operational challenges.
I’m also not a difficult or overly picky guest — I’m generally very easy to please.
Unfortunately, this experience fell far below the standard expected from a steakhouse at this price point. (370$ for 2 without any liquor or alcohol btw)
We had a reservation and still waited about 15 minutes to be seated. While delays can happen, the seating itself was disappointing.
We were placed in a back room with harsh neon lighting and plastic chairs that felt unstable and uncomfortable. The environment did not reflect the level of quality the restaurant presents or charges for.
Service lacked urgency from the start. It took approximately 10 minutes after being seated for anyone to acknowledge the table and offer water.
Food arrived about 30 minutes after ordering and was consistently underwhelming.
The crab cake lacked seasoning and flavor and tasted like plain crab with no proper preparation or balance.
The chicken entrée and spinach side were extremely bland and poorly executed. Both dishes tasted under-seasoned and flat, with no depth of flavor or attention to preparation. For a restaurant at this price level, these items felt careless and unfinished rather than intentionally simple.
The cowgirl ribeye was the biggest disappointment. It arrived burnt on the outside, dry, tough, noticeably cold, and did not appear to be the stated 16 oz portion. The texture was rubbery and far from a proper medium well preparation. It was very clear the steak had been left under a warmer for too long — the juices had completely dried out on the plate, which was visible even in the photo taken at the table. I informed the server immediately after the first bite and was told it was due to the temperature, which does not explain a cold, dry, overcooked steak.
The lobster mac and cheese was overpriced for the portion and contained minimal lobster.
The only enjoyable component of the meal was the complimentary bread and sauce.
Spending nearly $400 for two guests without alcohol for this level of food and service is difficult to justify. Based on this experience, I would not return.

Went out with my friends the other night for a fun girls night out, I love STK. They have always been very consistent and the atmosphere is fun with an upbeat vibe great music, excellent cocktails.
I had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. The shrimp cocktail was amazing and the shrimps were large. I love their bread with the dipping sauce. Our server Christian was amazing. He made sure we got everything we wanted and explained the menu and drinks very thoroughly. I found parking right out front, which was a plus can’t wait to go back. They even have a cool video Photo Booth at the front for your social media, which was awesome ! Oh and the bag of donuts with the dipping sauce or a must for dessert !!!

My boyfriend and I came here last night for a fancy dancy romantic dinner date just shy of Christmas I was looking at steakhouses that had very nice reviews and the STK franchise was a fan favorite. The Midtown location was more convenient to commute to and had reservation availability for Monday evening. Upon entering, it was low lit and purple and there were plenty of people seated and a few waiting to be seated. The indoor decorations were holiday themed and pretty and the music playlist was great; I heard a lot of songs I knew and haven’t heard in awhile in a nice remix The service was splendid, I believe our waitress was named Corin (I hope I spelled that correctly!). She was very knowledgeable of the menu, very attentive and overall pleasant We even met one of the general managers, Edwin, whom was very polite and professional too.
Now the food! I had the surf n turf with brussel sprouts and my boyfriend had the Australian flat iron wagyu steak with mac and cheese. As for the drink, I had the Dragon cocktail, it was very sweet, right up my alley And the appetizers consisted of the lil bite burgers and the wagyu pot stickers. Everything was splendid, from the presentation, to the flavors and the portions. Of course nothing runs cheap here, but there are some nice menus for the holidays and the $69 per person fixed menu. There’s also other options like Steak Night and such. I 100% recommend this place; the lobster tail and steak had me in a chokehold…and that lobster butter?? take me back But yes! We look forward to going again in the future! ✨

It is very rare to find bad steakhouse in the middle of most vibrant part of the Manhattan, but I managed to find one! Part of our order were 2 NY Strip Steaks, both was absolutely horrible! Steaks were completely overcooked, burned I should say, “medium rare” was completely “grey” with a paper thin pink line inside, the “medium” one was completely dark grey inside and corners was chewie and basically uneatable on both. The small container with peppercorn side sauce (“recommended” by the server) was very bad and kind of sweet, absolutely not match to steaks at all. And 2 teaspoons of sauce cost me $24… wow! But, my dog was extremely happy with my leftovers, he may write a better review. The food in general was mediocre and not very existing. Mini burger and prawns cocktail for appetizer were not too bad, but nothing special, so is the desert (mini doughnuts with the dipping sauces). Sides were not much different than other parts of the completely destroyed dinner experience. Tater Tots fail flat in flavor and Mac and Cheese not toooooo bad bud definitely way too much cheese on the top.
Very bad dining experience, will not recommend it. There are SO many great food options in Manhattan for any budget, so don’t waste your time and money.

STK Steakhouse is a fantastic choice for a corporate lunch or professional meeting. I have been here a couple of times specifically for business lunches, and it delivers consistently on food quality, service, and overall experience.
The seating is comfortable and well arranged, making it ideal for conversations and meetings. They also offer outdoor seating, which can be a great option during warmer months. In winter, I would recommend staying indoors for comfort.
The food is outstanding. My absolute favorite items are the steak and the mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes are honestly some of the best I have ever had anywhere. Perfect texture, rich flavor, and a true standout dish. The steak quality is excellent, cooked properly, and clearly one of their signature strengths. The menu offers a wide range of options including chicken, beef, seafood, and more, all prepared at a high level.
Service has always been professional, attentive, and polished. The staff understands the corporate dining environment and handles it very well.
The only issue I experienced was that the background music can be unreasonably loud at times. If the volume were slightly lower, the atmosphere would easily be five stars. Everything else about the ambiance is modern, stylish, and energetic.
I strongly recommend making a reservation rather than walking in. They do accept walk-ins, but reservations are clearly preferred and safer, especially during busy hours. You can reserve online, order online, book private events, and even purchase gift cards. Their website is well organized and provides clear information about menus, hours, and services.
Overall, STK is one of those places in the city you should visit at least once for the experience. It is polished, professional, and consistently high quality. Solid four stars from me, very close to five.

This was my first time at this wonderful establishment. Arrived with no reservations on a Friday night with my best friend and we were seated within 5 min in a very quaint area. (NYASIA) was our server and she was extremely professional, knowledgeable and pleasant! Her recommendations were ALL ON POINT!! She checked on us just enough but not overly. The delicious good arrived fast, hot and well seasoned.
It was a great experience for me and my bestie said she has never been disappointed with any of her visits there!

Their all-you-can-eat brunch for $39 per person is truly impressive, especially for Midtown. The space is beautiful and fully decorated for the holidays, making it perfect for a girls brunch or a date spot.
We tried one of everything, and the Chicken & Waffles were the standout perfectly crisp, tender, and full of flavor.
