I’ve been here a few times, both alone and with my boyfriend, and I finally decided to write a review since I’ve tried most of the menu!
The Brown Line Smoothie is by far the best smoothie they offer.
Today I had the Apple Walnut Salad, and it’s easily one of the best items on the menu. The portion is pretty big that I wasn’t able to finish! But its great for leftovers!
The Tavern Pizza is always freshly made and very good perfect for sharing.
I’ve also had the Chicken Alfredo. It’s good, but nothing extraordinary.
For appetizers, I’ve tried the Stix breadsticks. They’re pretty good, though I’d love to see a version with cheese inside! The meatballs are also tasty—light and delightful.
The staff is very friendly, the place is clean and inviting, and the music is great!
Overall, it’s a cozy little spot, and I’ll definitely keep coming back—especially since it’s only a 20-minute walk from my college.

I’m genuinely perplexed by the other Google ratings for this place. I spent $21 on what is basically a personal pan pizza, which is comprised of approximately one teaspoon of sauce, a miniscule sprinkling of cheese, and what appears to be a single chopped basil leaf. I’m disappointed in how cheap Stix n Brix is with their ingredients.
I’m new to Chicago, so I had high hopes for trying your pizza, but this ain’t it chief.
Feel free to point me in the direction of a more respectable pizza joint, but this place should have about the same reputation for good pizza as the White Sox have for good baseball. Boo!

Stumbled upon this gem during a Card-Sox rain out and it didn’t disappoint. This cute woodfired pizza oven, smoothie, salad restaurant was flavorful and cute.
We enjoyed a salad and a combo pizza while our kids enjoyed a cheese pizza and a smoothie. Everything was really good appropriately sized and cooked to order. Didn’t seem like we waited very long and we had our food.
The restaurant itself has seating for 20 to 30 people with a variety of table styles. The place also does coffee and smoothies for breakfast.
Always a good sign we saw two police officers who came in and ordered smoothies. The parking is limited the street parking we were able to find a spot fairly close and fairly quickly.

Today was a super hot day and my second time here. I had grilled chicken stubby sandwich and it was one of the two best sandwich in Chicago. Disclaimer: I am not a sandwich girl, but a food snob girlie. The server was super nice and cute.

Had my daughter’s first birthday party in the event space. We had about 40 people there, overall went really well.
The space is connected to the restaurant, and is easy to decorate for whatever event you want. Large windows that can open up to the sidewalk Cafe, and a fixed service counter in the back. They provided tables, chairs, and table cloths. We handled cleanup of our decorations and food, they did the rest.
Mario was excellent to work with, he suggested different options, food drink packages, and said we could bring our own food. We brought cakes, snacks, and beverages. We bough pizzas, salads, and sides, they were all great. Since we didn’t order dedicated buffet, we managed the food setup ourselves. If we were to run low on food, we could order more later, nice to have that option.
Service was a little inconsistent, we needed some help getting napkins, plates, and takeout boxes. I get it though, they are also running the Cafe too.
My friends and family had a great time, and we got a lot of compliments about the food. Definitely would recommend for an event or great food.

First time here, we ordered a tavern style & wood fire pizza , 8/10 . Also got the tomato soup, which was very good! I love the atmosphere here and would be back again! Spent about $50 for 2 pizzas, tomato soup, and four cans of pop 🙂

Looking for Pizza and came to Stix n Brix pizza cause it was close and South of China town. It was a great decision. Great atmosphere and nice staff. Loved the brick oven and you can watch your pizza be made. Ordered a 10inch pizza and bread sticks and Beretta salad. Delicious!

Parking is what it is, but I came for the pizza and salad! I ordered the chicken Caesar salad w/ homemade dressing (10/10), pesto & burrata pizza (9/10) & hibiscus Arnold Palmer (10/10). Add some olive oil or seasoned garlic butter to the crust & it’s a 10/10 for me!
Customer service was cool, calm and collected. I dined for one and was accompanied by my laptop . The staff checked in periodically, which was appreciated. Clean restaurant and restrooms. I’ll be back!

I came here for a quick lunch, I was able to order and be served within 15 mins. The chicken sandwich was really good, lots of great flavors in the chicken and the sauce. The bread the sandwich comes on was warm and delicious. I will definitely be back and 100% will recommend. Friendly staff too.
