Stix Ludington is a world-class restaurant, entertainment center, and event space bringing food, fun, and bowling to Northern Michigan. Since 1954, Stix has been a Ludington staple—a place for neighbors and friends to gather around the table, enjoy good company, and celebrate together. The renovated facility is opening in 2021 and features a new menu, private event spaces, a beer garden patio and pier, state-of-the-art lanes, and an homage to our community’s rich history.

We have now been to the restaurant/bar, back yard venue/bar and bowling alley/bar. Although all one venue, it does offer many options. They held our 10 year high school reunion, a friend’s birthday party and our staff lunch in. All have been wonderful experiences, and so different from one another. The staff is always friendly and helpful! The food was awesome every visit! It definitely offers a different vibe than most establishments in the area! Fun updated look with an elegant atmosphere. And although it’s a little off the beaten path, it’s close to the state park if you’re looking for the beach or a hike!

My family (mom, dad, sister – all adults) had an excellent lunch 2 days ago. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food (1 whitefish dinner, 2 burgers, and 1 chicken tenders). The food was delicious. The service was excellent and I would like to highlight Landon, who was our server. They were especially busy for 12 Noon, so Landon so is normally a bartender filled in as a server, and he was excellent. The modern atmosphere of the place is so chill, from the menu, to the bowling alley, to the outside area they have for concerts. I definitely want to come back and go to a concert. We will definitely make the 45 minute drive again from Silver Lake – it is well worth the drive!

Brunch was top notch. Fresh ingredients, as fresh as you can get in northern MI this time of year anyway. Bowling alley was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were the nicest public restrooms I’ve ever been in. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks for a wonder Sunday morning.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I’ve never been before, despite being in the area for years, but decided to check it out with friends today n we all loved it! It’s SO modern, not just the building but the menu as well, the atmosphere is a mix of modern but also cozy as well, if that makes sense we all had the crab stuffed flounder with mashed redskins n fresh beans, n it was AMAZING! The beans were so fresh, they tasted like they were literally just picked from the garden (reminds me of the ones my grandpa used to grow). My husband got the fried cod n he definitely wants to get it again next time! The drinks were rly tasty, my friends had the chocolate martini n they’re in love with it! Service was great, it WAS very busy, but the staff were all very friendly. Def give them 5 stars!

Cool, small outdoor concert venue. Holds about 2500 people. Very outdoorsy. Lots of trees around, including one in the middle of the general admission area. Sound is decent, not great. There are a a few picnic tables and gas fire pits. Easy parking and easy to get in and out of.

We had a great lunch at Stix Ludington!
We started with the spicy rock shrimp followed by fried fish platters (cod for my wife, perch for me). The platters came with sea salted fries, fresh hush puppies, and Cole slaw. We finished up with a Java Lava Cake. Yum!!!
Jessica was a great server and suggested we come back for a band on the weekend. Looking at the stage and outdoor space I have to say we will definitely have to try that out!
The facility is tastefully done and looks amazing for a beach town. Worth the stop and the food!

I’ve performed here and watched other bands including Ted Nugent recently at a sold out show. Sound, lights, food and service was all great considering the amount of people there. The outhouses moved really quick as well. Maybe a little more light would have been better. Viewing the performance from the back with full capacity was quite hard to see and I stand over 6 foot tall. Overall it was great and hopefully my band Pretty Kool will be invited back there to perform.

Enjoyed the shrimp & Lobster Roll, which was roughly 80% Shrimp. Really good flavor on nice top-split piece of thick Texas Toast. It was very fresh. Service was ok.
10/12/24 Update. Very good trip with the fam again. Enjoyed the drinks and recommend the Porch Pounder as it’s not too sweet but very flavorful. Baby Back Ribs were very good tender smoked rub. No BBQ sauce if that’s important to you. The crab stuffed flounder was very good too.
One ding against the atmosphere was the abundance of flies at our table. This was surprising being mid October, but there they were. My guess there was some trash that needed attention. Other than that the over all atmosphere is super cool and completely capable of hosting and entertaining a group for an evening.

Great spot to see live music. Parking could be better and unfortunately no encores due to a curfew that is in the area. Wish there was a bus that took you to n from Manistee. Beautiful venue.
