I ordered shrimp hibachi fried rice, an Asian ginger salad, and onion soup. The soup and salad took a while, and after waiting about an hour for the fried rice, I still hadn’t received it. I stopped the server Kiara and asked about my food, and she told me she was about to bring it out. However, shortly after that, she brought out the same exact order to another customer right next to me who had ordered after me.
At that point, I decided to leave without my food. I understand fast casual restaurants get busy, but the long wait and serving others first without any explanation was frustrating and disappointing.

Delicious, fresh food served as soon as items are made. You order at the the counter and they bring to you as they prepare. They will accomodate requests if they can. We really enjoyed our rolls and the spring roll was wonderful. The decor is adorable and the woman who waited on us was friendly and sweet.

This is a cool, hip, Asian fusion place in the downtown area. The parking could be tricky as the road side parking spots are always filled. And the parking lot, right opposite to it is most of the time filled. I parked my car a little far and walked down a block. Do this place have any parking dedicated to the customers? – well, I don’t know that. I stopped to pick some lunch quickly for myself as I was working from home. The place was not too packed and the service was quite fast. I got my spicy honey chicken ( the name was something like that, not much confident!) with a side of friend rice quite fast. The food was very hot and fresh. However, I felt it as to be like glorified Panda Express!! Taste wise it was almost similar. Portion size was even smaller. I haven’t tried their sushi though, and would definitely go back to give it a try.

I was staying at the Peabody and was looking for something walkable. Online ordering was so easy!! Also, the food tasted very fresh. I got the teriyaki shrimp. Reasonable prices for the area and would highly recommend especially if you are tired of fatty, greasy meals. It was delightful.

*edit* i decided on my own to update my rating. Three stars seems to be an unacceptable rating to some. It doesn’t mean it’s bad, it just means it wasn’t the best fit for me. Also, it doesn’t bother me that everything is disposable. I only stated it as an observation, that way anyone who hasn’t been here before knows that the they don’t have ceramic plates, etc. I think it’s handy, if you don’t have time to finish your meal or if an emergency comes up, you can just ask for a lid and quickly leave and take your food and forks with you.*
We had a sushi burrito, which is just a large, unsliced sushi roll. It’s wrapped in soy paper. It was alright. We also had the filet with fried rice and vegetables. The filet was cooked to order but it wasn’t very seasoned, everything else was ok. I thought the menu was limited and over-priced. I likely won’t be back but it’s not due to the service or food. It was good, it just didn’t float my boat. All utensils, cups and plates are disposable. The cashier was nice and the lady bussing the tables was very cheerful and friendly. The atmosphere was quiet. They sell mixed drinks and canned alcoholic beverages. The bathrooms were clean, modern and well stocked. They have separate one-toilet bathrooms for men and women. Everything but the toilet is touchless. The decor theme is light-hearted and fun to look at. They also sell cool t-shirts with the eatery theme on it. It’s best if you grab a menu right when you walk in and peruse it so that you already know what you want before you follow the dragon and stand in front of the register. There is also public parking right across the street from the restaurant.

We tried Stix for a quick dinner this evening. We tried the crab rangoons, egg roll, and chicken Lo Mein. We also tried the frozen saki & a local breweries pilsner for drinks. All very tasty.

This place was amazing. A great date night vibe. You can order at the counter sit down and they will bring the food out to you. The atmosphere was nice and very clean. I would highly recommend if downtown Memphis and wanting some good food.

We have been travelling in the States for two weeks and stumbled across Stix – great place with really fresh delicious food – a great change from burgers. Couldn’t recommend them any higher. Well worth the visit. Would give them six stars if possible.

A nice brisk 4 minute walk from Beale and South Main Street, this restaurant is a blink and you’ll miss it. Typically it’s not crowded and its a seat yourself establishment (something I LOVE) The food is of excellent quality and it surprisingly isn’t a long wait for your food. Me and my wife received our meals in about roughly 10 minutes after ordering. I’d you have a taste for Asian cuisine, then STIX is your go to!

I ate there about four times a week. It’s always the same. It’s always great. I eat the salmon or sometimes I get the steak and it’s grilled and they had vegetables and rice and they have a dynamite salad and salad dressing.
