The best Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. We’ve been going here since they were originally at the Park N Shop plaza. They moved to Monument Blvd a couple years back.
Their Drunken Noodles are very unique…they essentially deep-fry the flat rice noodles (sen yai in Thai) until it’s crispy so you get a nice textural contrast. Best drunken noodles in the bay!
The BBQ combination is a generous serving of protein. Only $28 and they provide a pretty generous serving of steak when beef is so expensive these days. Can easily serve 4 people. We usually take it to-go.
Thai Boat Noodles are decent. Not the most authentic but it’s a steal at $14 and it hits the spot for my cravings. The broth is on the sweeter side (too much Thai dark soy sauce) and they don’t use any blood to thicken and flavor the soup. But the noodles were served piping hot, and they at least provided pork cracklings!
This is a better Thai place than any of the local takeout joints in Clayton OR the overpriced restaurants in Walnut Creek. We go to STIX when we’re craving Thai and we go to Spicy Joi when we’re craving Lao.

Tried Sixtery and really enjoyed it! The curry was rich and flavorful with the right amount of spice, and the pad thai had that perfect balance of sweet and tangy. The egg rolls were crispy and fresh, great starter to the meal. Friendly service and clean spot — everything came out hot and tasty. Definitely a nice mix of Thai and Viet flavors, worth coming back for!

Stix Eatery is hands down one of my favorite spots -every time I go, the food is consistently amazing! As someone who’s Lao, I really appreciate how well they make the Lao papaya salad. I always get it extra spicy, just the way I like it. Their yum woon sen salad is also a must-try—so flavorful and fresh!
I never make papaya salad at home because my husband is allergic to papaya and get tired of cucumber salad, so I’m so grateful that Stix does it right every time. It hits the spot whenever I’m craving it, and it’s such a relief to have a place close by that gets those traditional flavors just right.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic taste and dependable quality!

Food is always on point, drinks are pretty good. I’d keep this place a secret if I could, but it’s just not possible. Very reasonably priced and always have leftovers. How much more can I say besides that there’s a reason why they have been around since 87’. You don’t get these flavors and hospitality in the same place in the area. I would say that if you try it once it won’t be the last.

I have been eating here for years now. I have tried Thai at a handful of restaurants in the area, some have been recommended to me from family or a local FB dining group. I am a foodie, so no matter what, I like to eat around, Lol. But none are as good as Stix. So I stopped wasting my money. None of them compare. I should have written this review years ago. Stix has the BEST drunken noodles. No one makes it like them. Their noodles are crispy and delicious. They will cater to you and make it as spicy or mild as you request. Thai food was never my favorite cuisine. I’m a comfort food type, a great burger or Steak would be #1. But their drunken noodles is hands down my favorite dish, period. Over any cuisine that I love, this is my #1 I have tried various items on their menu. I also enjoy their Kapraw, BBQ combo meats, fried rice and more. Their owner is very friendly and even gave me a free dessert for my birthday. Thank you Stix, you are the best. I usually do doordash, under Debbie/Debra but I moved recently and will have to come pickup sometime I’m in the area. I shouldn’t have written this when I’m hungry. Cheers to drunken noodles in my dreams tonight. Lol

Food was delicious. Pork Belly, Noodles, and dessert were fresh, tasty and delicious. I couldn’t be happier with the food and there packaging to go. The restaurant itself isn’t up to par for eating in the place, although it may have been at one time, but definitely recommend a to-go order!

Have I mentioned I love to try different foods! Me and my friend was looking to eat at a place that wasn’t a chain type restaurant. And we passed by this one in willow pass, concord on Park n Shop shopping center. The owner actually works there and very nice and attentive. This I would say is Asian Fusion food with exploding tastes. Big food portions (I’m all about that) with the price that you pay. Which was not expensive at all. Their deserts are unique and several options for drinks! Love, loved it!!!

First when we walked in the place, we loved the spacious room with clean, sparsely design and semi-open kitchen style. Our waitress was friendly and helpful in giving us plenty of recommendations and never rushed us. We tried their most popular signature dish Stix wings and it’s a crowd pleaser, crispy skins with tangy chili sweet sauce, fingers licking good wings. The papaya salad was the perfect companion to the spicy chicken wings, crunchy papaya with cilantro and red onions all mixed in with lime citrus sauce, a perfect palate cleansing. We also ventured the Laotian fermented pork salad with crispy rice which is another perfectly balanced dish with the crunch and mint complimenting the fermented pork, which has a texture of beef tendon. The only dish we didn’t care as much was the fried calamari, the batter was just too heavy. The portion was generous and for three people with six dishes, the average cost was $30 per person with lots of to go boxes.
