I was recently visiting Atlanta and got lunch at Stir House, which is mostly a take out build your own bowl type situation. It’s GF and vegan and starts with ordering at a self-serve kiosk. You pick your base which is either rice noodles, jasmine rice, or quinoa. Then you pick your protein. The options are tofu, Daring chick’n (which I don’t prefer since I am not GF), or vegan shrimp. You also pick three veggies. I got the rice noodles with tofu, broccoli, carrots, sweet bell peppers, and added 3 shrimp. And then you pick your sauce. I got the General Tso’s. It did not taste at all like General Tso’s, but it was pretty good. The service was friendly. It’s a cute little fast food spot. The food was served molten lava hot so this would be a great delivery option too. If you are visiting Atlanta, it’s a close walk from Centennial Olympic Park and lots of other downtown tourist spots.

Everything here is vegan, but don’t let that stop you from eating here. Orders are placed at cashless kiosks, but that didn’t keep the friendly staff from making me feel at home. I ordered the spring rolls and the Khan noodles, and both were excellent. The noodles were pleasantly spicy and saucy (not dry), with plenty of fresh vegetables and vegan chicken that had a great texture.

The dining area is small but thoughtfully decorated with bamboo plants, cool murals, and comfortable seating. I stopped in shortly before closing, and the owner and his team were still all smiles and kindness. Great food, good people, and a higher purpose. Support this small business, Atlanta!

I absolutely loved my visit here for Valentine’s Day. As someone who found out they had to be gluten free 7 months ago, this was my attempt at eating out again. Prior to this I tried gluten free options at restaurants and got inflamed every single time. Unfortunately one of my symptoms is elevated heartrate so that was always a huge let down after eating realizing that I would spend the rest of the night in discomfort.

I waited a couple of days after I ate here to give this review because I wanted to be sure I didn’t experience any side effects. And I didn’t! Yay!

Now let’s get into the food. My God did this food taste good. It rivals regular restaurants in GA as one of thee most tasty spots we’ve ever eaten at. I’m saying this as a newly gluten free person who regularly ate out before this diagnosis. I am also not vegan though I was for years and my husband hated vegan food. After finishing his dinner, the pineapple fried rice, he just sat there staring at his plate saying “wow”. lol!! He couldn’t believe how good it tasted. He also love the “chicken” and “shrimp”. We loved it so much we ordered take out the next day. We will definitely visit more regularly. 10 out of 10. My kids also ate with Zero complaints or fighting which is usually not the case.

Finally the service was amazing. Knowledgeable workers, with the patience to answer all your questions. The owner was so welcoming and was eager to share why he started the restaurant. Good vibes, great tasting clean food. Run don’t walk. You won’t regret it.

The food was delicious and the service was so kind and friendly!! The fried shrimp was INCREDIBLE (flavorful, great texture, and blew our minds on how it could be vegan! It felt so shrimp-like), we could have had 20 of them. The pineapple fried rice was also soo flavorful – another big hit.

100% GLUTEN FREE AND SO GOOD.
I’ve never gotten to try bao buns because they’re never gf but theirs were amazing, I appreciate how much work they are to make. The fried mushrooms are amazing too, and the kahn. My coworker who isn’t gf also loved it. Would definitely go back when I’m in the area.

Came for the food, stayed for the vibes and more food.

I was able to get dishes I have not gotten since I went vegan and gluten free. I highly recommend the eggroll and dessert empanada.

Clean space with good and friendly service.

Look forward to going when I am back in the area.

Wow, yeah these reviews don’t lie. Popped into this place for dinner and holy smokes, super nice service/team, nice vibe and music inside, but the food, my goodness the food is phenomenal.

I don’t have any dietary restrictions but was blown away by how everything tasted and felt. Had the vegan shrimp and I don’t know how they did it but it may be better than regular seasoned shrimp. And their lemonade (just tried the cucumber pineapple one) is incredible as well.

Truly deserving of the title of being good and good for you, 10/10.

Really cute atmosphere inside! The fried mushrooms and shrimp are really good additions, despite the extra cost. The tofu is also really good if you don’t like vegan meat substitutes! Everything is also gluten free as well, making it a good option for celiacs. Overall a good option for lunch!

So glad I finally stopped on this place. I ordered spring rolls and a build your box for myself and my friend got the fried “shrimp” and lemon-grass coconut soup. I’m so pleased with everything and they give you very healthy portions. I didn’t get to try the soup but I’ll definitely be back for more! 10/10 recommend.
