2/20/26. 7:30 pm Friday nite is crowded. Call ahead for a reservation. I was by myself so I sat at the bar. All the food I saw going out to costumers looked and smelled delicious. I wanted to try something I never had so I ordered the ZYDECO FISH. WOW what a tasty dinner, it was like the fish was dancing in my mouth, it was so full of flavor. My sides were the Cajon potatoes and hushpuppies. Everything was delicious and hot. The wait was totally worth the drive for this excellent dinner.

This is our second time visiting and this time we brought friends since the food was absolutely delicious the first time. This time was totally different, I was kinda embarrassed because we had bragged to our friends on how good the food was, only to be disappointed this time. I ordered the same thing as I did on my first visit and there must’ve been a different cook because the food was nowhere near the same. My mash potatoes were full of grease, the rice in my beans was hard, and my stuffed fish was barely stuffed, plus the breading was coming off of the fish. I ordered an extra side of mash potatoes since the were so bomb on my first visit, I wish I hadn’t. We all were so disappointed. I know there are new owners but the food needs to stay consistent. We went during HAPPY HOUR, the martini’s were great. These pictures are from my first visit, I was too angry to take pictures the second time because I wasted $80 on food that wasn’t worth it. When I say my first visit I mean since the new owners, I’ve been a repeat customer at Stingrays for years now.

Best fried shrimp ever! Softshell crabs fried were also excellent! We highly recommend the crabby Mary it makes for a whole meal.

We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Saturday night and immediately got a table. The weight staff is very friendly and very nice. We did have to wait a little while for our food to arrive so next time we go, we will make sure we order appetizers.
Shrimp or large and really the right amount of crispy. The potato salad is surprisingly spicy. Onion rings were large, crispy, and delicious.
Tartar sauce and cocktail sauce were both wonderful accompaniments .

I started off really loving the place. I first ordered beginning of June and loved the red beans. However, each time I order, the portion size is different. The first time I ordered, it was a great serving in a full size container with two links of sausage and I even had a little left over. The time after that, it was slightly less but enough for dinner. This time, it is barely an appetizer portion with one link of sausage. Great food but not worth the price if you are only getting an appetizer portion for $18.95. Consistency seems to be an issue.

Not sure why we haven’t been here in years but we’re glad we stopped here last night. Food was very good! Grilled Oysters were good but on the small size. I loved the “Zydeco Fish”! Our server recommended it and she was not lying! My wife got the “Shrimp Nicholas” and she loved it! Very buttery. One of our friends had the “Shrimp Nicole” and she said it was very delicious and spicy. Spicy where you feel it in the back of your throat. Not sure what that means. Our other friend ordered a “Fried Shrimp on bun” sandwich. Also very delicious. Our server was friendly and great. Over all this is still a great place to get some good food.

Hubby and I went for a late lunch…. FANTASTIC!!
Server was Joe…. and he was the absolute coolest kid on the block! He was attentive, made sure we had everything we needed to accompany our order.

This place was pleasantly delicious! I was worried when my partner and I pulled in the parking lot and there were only 3 cars here. We ordered the boudin egg rolls, the zydeco fish, and the sting ray trio (grilled) with sides of mac n cheese and the cajun potatoes and cajun potato salad. The staff was super sweet and friendly, and I would definitely come back for some good grilled seafood and fish plates!

Im from Ohio and came down there with my son to see my Aunt she bring me there with her daughter. The food was very good but im not used to all the Cajun spice b ut my son loved the shrimp. I got the shrimp that wasn’t spicy. They were very busy but worth the wait.
