We had a lovely meal at Stina. Staff were kind and attentive throughout our meal. We ordered the spanish octopus, mushroom manti, merguez turkish pida, and a chocolate cake with tahini buttercream. The octopus was well cooked and yummy overall–flavor was not particularly unique however. Mushroom manti with porcini broth and pickled mushrooms was delicious. We also really enjoyed the chewy wood fired bread of the merguez pida with lamb sausage. I personally prefer that type of bread with a sauce based topping, but it was overall a good dish. 10000/10 would go back for that chocolate cake with tahini buttercream. The ganache was fantastic and sea salt perfected each bite. It was the highlight of the meal.

Stina was fantastic! I warmed up with some tea, followed by a delicious savory dinner. My friend and I couldn’t decide what to order, so we chose some dishes to share. I loved the Funghi pizza and the special, a gnocchi dish with goat. Everything was so good!

This place ticks all the boxes. Great food, attentive service, and awesome atmosphere. The pizza was delicious but the real star of the show was the gnocchi with squash and mushrooms which was a special the night we went. The chocolate tahini cake was also incredibly good and I’m not usually a cake person.

We started with the Mediterranean dips which is an assortment of flavorful mezze served with warm pita bread and the Moroccan glazed carrots, which was beautifully seasoned and easily my favorite dish of the night. For our entrées, we tried the fungi pizza and the pide. Both were excellent: fresh ingredients, generous portions, and perfectly cooked. The flavors were rich without being heavy. Overall, a great dining experience with dishes that felt both comforting and elevated.

We enjoyed our meal at Stina! Stina is a small BYOB (they take reservations) with Mediterranean food and a legit pizza oven. The pizza was the star of the meal. Very thin crust and good size pizza 12+ inches in diameter cut into 6 slices. Larger than your typical “personal” sized pizza. The service was great, we sat right away and had full water and fresh cutlery during our meal.

Wow! We finally tried Stina and it must have been our best dining experience and quality in the last few years! Everything we tried was so delicious. We started with the spreads, Greek salad, and snails – yum! We got the mushroom/leek manti (omg!!! the broth!), the filet mignon souvlaki, two Turkish Peris (lamb and kefte) and of course the tahini chocolate cake!!! We were so impressed with the creativity of Chef Bobby Saritsoglou, welcoming staff, cozy atmosphere/decor and the quality of each dish. Cannot wait to be back, this must be one of the most underrated culinary experiences in Philly!

Walking the neighborhood literally stumbled upon this place (over a curb, lol)!

So glad I did. The chicken shawarma lunch special was dare I say the best I have had in the city! The portion was large and the staff and vibes were on point. I will definitely be back!

Visited Stina’s for a birthday dinner last night and it was absolutely perfect. We ordered the mezze platter which came with hummus, baba ghanoush, tzatziki, and the most delicious za’atar spiced fresh pita. I got so emotional because it tasted so authentic and transported me back home. We also got the octopus which came with a scrumptious black garlic sauce, the lamb manti and the mortadella pizza with pistachios and toum. We finished it off with a slice of the chocolate tahini cake and it was to die for. Absolutely delectable and the service and atmosphere do not miss! Highly recommend Stina’s!! Get you a resy STAT!

Our first time eating here. We had a delightful birthday dinner. The owner was so accommodating with our plan changes. The dining room has a great vibe, the staff was attentive, and the food was delicious. The menu has options for every diet and palate. We can’t wait to go again. The extra birthday touch on the menu was a special treat.

Stina came on my radar after their chocolate cake made a “Best of Philly Desserts” list. I couldn’t justify chocolate for lunch, so I also tried their chicken kebabs.

While a simple dish, the kebabs are a satisfying meal. You receive 4 skewers of smoky, lightly charred chicken with a vibrant spice rub. The pita bread is also a win, dusted in a thick layer of zaatar that acts as a perfect vessel for scooping of the herby, pomegranate seed laden tzatziki. Most Mediterranean restaurants give you some rice and grilled tomato, but Stina has leveled up the dish with an array of pickled vegetables. You have roasted red bell pepper, baby artichokes, spicy red peppers, perfectly pickled onions and a quick pickled cucumber that manages to add just the right amount of sweetness and crunch. They also included olives, but I didn’t partake.

Coming back to the coup de resistance, Stina’s chocolate cake isn’t to be missed. It’s a hefty slice with layers of perfectly moist chocolate, whipped tahini buttercream, a dense ganache underscored by espresso notes and flaky sea salt to cut through the sweetness. There’s also a luscious chocolate sauce you can run each forkful through that makes each bite even more indulgent.

Would love to return for their pizzas and seafood!
