We visited this restaurant for a date night and I was truly impressed. It was a Sunday night, so it was nice and quiet, but I’m sure it gets busy during the week. The atmosphere is warm, home-like, but spacious. We were seated promptly and our server was very welcoming, thorough, and attentive. She did a fantastic job at explaining the menu and giving recommendations. We got 2 mocktails, and they were both refreshing and flavorful. As for the food, all of the plates were amazingly prepared. From the bold flavors to the plate presentation, you can tell that the chef is passionate about his craft! My favorite dishes were the brussels sprouts, jerk hen, & crème brûlée. We had an incredible dining experience and will definitely be back soon!

Perfectly sized tapas plates. We also ordered the pork belly, which I can’t wait to reorder. By the time I thought of taking a pic it was gone much like the bison meatloaf. They have a new chef but his food…Amazing. We went Friday and going back tonight, Sunday. We sat at the bar and she was extraordinary.

First time visiting this spot, as a lover of tapas— the food did not disappoint. we ordered the seafood dip, mussels, Nigerian wings, duck tacos, donuts…. The duck tacos were mine and hubby favorite by far. Service was decent. The chef took time to stop by our table for a bit which was a plus. Can’t wait to return and try more dishes.

I went here with a large group for a galentine’s day dinner, so my experience here may not be the norm. Service was great, Casa was very attentive and on top of things. Which can be hard with a group of 12 and serving other tables as well. The drinks were very good too, everyone at the table kept complimenting them. I had the paradox, not too sweet and a little tart.
Now to get to the food. I had ordered the beef tenderloin ($18). Although it was pretty small, my issue was that it was very chewy and if it was seasoned, I couldn’t tell. I also ordered the white mac – I didn’t care for it as it had large pieces of shallots, so the shallot overwhelmed the dish. Which is a bit unfortunate, as the three cheese bit worked well. My companions enjoyed the wings, Brussels and lumpia. So definitely give that a try as that seemed consistent.
Again, I’m not sure if it was an off night for them. I would say give them a try, service and drinks are at least great, but not sure if the whole menu is a hit.

The best dining experience in Portsmouth. Ultimate date night spot. This takes tapas to its pinnacle. The BEST food I have ever had!! I wish I had snapped some pictures, but I was too busy enjoying every morsel. An all new menu.. if you think you remember the food from a time you’ve come before, I’m begging you to come again. I had the chance to speak with the chef who said he’s been on board for about 5 months; a Portsmouth local who has had the chance to travel and learn the art of food. SO excited to come back and have more! Excited to find out about any future wine tasting nights or guest chefs as well.
I could imagine coming with a group of friends, everyone enjoying a drink and ordering something to try and share. Even the smallest bite is like eating a meals worth of flavor.

This place is incredible! Warm and cozy feel a little like a speakeasy. The craft drinks were excellent. The tapas were extremely well done. Every dish we tried was perfect. We spent more time trying to figure out what we WEREN’T going to try than what we were. We settled on the crab and crawfish ettouffe, mussels, bison sliders, and braised beef each of them significant in their own way and very well executed. We will be going back to try more of the menu soon Highly recommend!!!!

This was my first time coming to this restaurant. If you love tapas then this restaurant is for you! The food was delicious! I felt like it was a European dining experience (which I love), meaning I did not feel rushed and could enjoy my time talking with my husband and enjoying my food and drinks. Oh, and the cocktails were delicious! We will definitely come back!
