Quaint, kitschy joint. Atmosphere was great. Lots of interesting food on the menu. Extremely expensive for the 3 bites you get, but it is tapas style after all so we weren’t expecting much. Blows my mind that as we were seated they mentioned the food is designed to be shared though. By what!? Mice?!? I’m not a large gal, nor do I eat a large amount of food. I’d venture a bet that I eat less food in an entire day than your avg American eats in one meal, but… this was ridiculous.

Our drinks were worth the trip alone. Megan is exactly what you missed as a bartender, she’s chatty and honest and will offer cocktails off the menu (despite having a Great cocktail menu).

Outstanding service and fantastic food. Plus we were treated to a wonderful anniversary dessert. I highly recommend if you’d like a special dinner. It was more expensive because we ordered cocktails and a bottle of wine. Loved it.

What reminded me of an underground spot I ate at in NYC one time when I first walked in, left me satisfied but a bit disappointed in the portions. When I think Tapas, I think tots. The bacon wrapped tots were delicious and of great quality but found it a bit disappointing that the tray only came with 4. For a $9 platter to only receive 4 tater tot’s covered in bacon is a bit steep for me – that’s $2.25 a tot!

Was told by friends we had to try Still Wordly for tapas. I’m so glad we did. We sat at the bar which we prefer. Jamie was our server. Very friendly and informative. Great vibe with good music in background. The duck confit tacos and the cast iron filet was delicious. We also had the meatloaf which was good, but started with the other two first. Our mistake!! Lol!!

Very neat basement restaurant. Cozy and welcoming. The tapas at this place are amazing! We thought we would leave hungry but we were satisfied and happy that we got to try everything. The placed was PACKED!! And we felt that service was slow -especially since we weren’t drinking. This is definitely a place to drink and eat some apps

The evening started out off the rails – having to wait an hour for our first tapas. So, why 4 instead of 1 star? The staff (specifically, our waitress) was amazing. She brought us food as soon as she could, comped us on some tapas, gave us a cheese platter for free, and was a rock star on a busy night. I wanted to give the place five stars even though it took forever to get our food but I dont think the dishes were amazing. The atmosphere and service however, … 5 stars.

The setting (speak easy) was really cool, and I love that it’s a female-led establishment. My fiancé’s duck breast with apple compote, Brussels spirits, and radicchio was thoughtfully composed and delicious with a perfect cook on the duck. My macaroni and cheese (actually using penne rather than macaroni) was a bit bland though. Extensive whiskey menu!

We visited Still last night and they did not disappoint. Parking can be tricky in downtown Portsmouth but not for Still. You can alley park or park in a lot that is right by the front door. As you enter it feels as if you are stepping into an exclusive speakeasy. Service was friendly and helpful with the menu. We ordered some delicious cocktails and several tapas to share. The bison meatloaf and mash potatoes was a comfort food hit! The tuna also was delicious. Next time we will have to stay for dessert. Still is a must if you are looking for a relaxing laid back vibe.

One of our dishes was too salty to eat. We brought it to the attention of the server. She removed it from the table but would not remove it from our bill. We did not eat it due to the taste. It was Saturday night; now I understand the lack of a crowd. Will not go back.
