I am so glad we stopped here!! It was like visiting friends. The food is all home made (per order), and it was very good. They have a soup and salad bar. The soup was delicious. The drinks and beer were cold and served in iced mugs. The Stuffed Tilapia was very good. The crab stuffed flounder was also excellent. But most of all I loved the totally relaxed vibe. Go here to hang out, relax, and de-stress. Don’t go here in a hurry. If you are visiting and looking for a place near Jim Thorpe, and don’t mind a little drive, go find this place, you will be glad you did!! I will be going back for sure.

We frequently have dinner here. Always delicious food and very peaceful relaxing atmosphere. The menu has a variety of food options including soup and salad bar. My personal favorite are the breaded catfish and liver and onions!

Went there for the 1st time w/my wife way back on a Sat afternoon. Sat @ the bar, waited about 10 mins til bartender took our drink order, then ordered steak dinners. Nearly 2 hrs & several drinks later, still no dinner! Just the promise of “Yours is coming up next!”. Walked out w/out leaving a tip – bartender chased us out the door & said I still owed for the last drink! What a joke! You only get 1 chance to make a good 1st impression. First time & last time for us @ Still Creek Tavern. My wife & I still kid w/each other & wonder if our steaks are ready yet? We’ll stick w/Two Kings, Basile’s or any other local restaurant that takes our order & then actually brings us food!

A lovely place for a delicious family meal. We enjoy the pork chops and the chicken piccata most of all! And the potato soup last week was the best we had in a very long time. It’s so hard finding creamy soups that are milk free!

Decent place out of the way. Good food. But not somewhere to go if you mind waiting. Took quite a while to get our food. Arrived around 7:20 or so and got our entrees around 8:35. Decently priced. Atmosphere is very rustic. Comfort food. Mac and cheese is excellent.

Ed and his wife run a great restaurant. One of my favorite places to eat. Food is reasonably priced. The only negative thing is you have to be patient waiting for food as Kathy is the only cook in the kitchen. I always recommend to my friends.

Probably one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. The soda was completely flat, my “boneless wings” were just chicken nuggets and on top of that the wait was outrageous. We got here at 6pm and got our food at 8:50pm. Almost 3 hours to get chicken nuggets that tasted like the ones in the freezer at Walmart. Please do not waste your money, go literally anywhere else.
