I had an amazing experience at Stick Rice! Let’s start with the basics – the ambiance is straightforward, with simple tables and chairs. They also have a small store where you can buy merchandise like t-shirts. However, the restroom could use some improvement, as it had a strong unpleasant odor.
Moving on to the food, I was impressed that they can prepare almost anything in vegetarian or vegan options. The food was outstanding! I ordered the green curry with tofu, which was exceptional. However, be warned: their “spicy” level is extremely hot, even for someone accustomed to Indian cuisine. I’d recommend opting for “medium” spicy instead.
My husband enjoyed the red curry with chicken, and my kid loved it too. The mango smoothie was delicious, but unfortunately, the mango rice didn’t quite live up to my expectations.
The owner was fantastic, ensuring that everything was to our satisfaction. Overall, Stick Rice is a great spot, and I’d definitely recommend it!

Found the price pretty average. The Thai green curry didn’t have a kick to it. Interiors of the restaurant are nice. Cheesecake was very heavy.

Pad Thai with Shrimp was overly sweet and smelled like vomit. I took 4 bites before I gave up and threw it away. Fat noodles with beef would have been decent if the oil it was cooked in wasn’t burnt and ruined the entire meals taste. Crab ragoons were crispy and large. They were cream cheese only, no crab. The chili sauce was good for dipping. I was truly disappointed with all the great reviews. I don’t normally leave such a harsh review, but it was awful. This is not real Thai. The customer service was good and the food was ready quickly. My husband said the atmosphere was nice he picked up the order.

Very fresh and tasty, as usual! We went for lunch during a week day and were seated very quickly. Our food arrived to the table almost 10 mins after ordering (wow!). The soup was good but tasted a tad bit diluted and could have used a smidge of salt or fish sauce. The Thai iced tea was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet. This was my first time having the fish w/ ginger and garlic stir fry. I loved the sauce that was on the dish. It was a sweet and savory and just a teeny tiny bit spicy. The fish was nice and crisp even though it was sauced. The veggies were cooked just right, as well. They were still crisp but not raw. One gripe I have is that the rice was overcooked.

The food was great. We got there about 40 minutes before closing. They did not let us stay after closing at all at 1:30, it’s time to get out! I may go back but not that close to closing again.

Best Thai food I’ve had around so far. We ordered vegetable spring rolls, mango Thai and house curry.. and OMG everything was super tasty. Rice was soft and pillowy, sauces were very flavorful, the chicken was tender and juicy, the spring rolls were crispy with super fresh tasting ingredients, and customer service was very kind and quick. I would come often. This place is great! Totally recommend it.

I came for the first time not knowing they open a close multiple times throughout the day. One of the ladies rushed me to order before they closed, so I ordered the mango chicken with fried rice which I was looking forward to. I live outside of Racine about 20 minutes away, and when I got home I realized you guys did NOT give me what I ordered at all. I don’t understand how you were comfortable enough to take my money knowing you guys were in a rush to close yet you still did not give me what I ordered. This meal was definitely not worth $15. I could have went to McDonald’s if I wanted chicken strips.
