After a rough couple of weeks, I really needed a win — and Sticky Fingers in Algonquin delivered in a big way. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine Southern hospitality.
We ordered fried shrimp, wings, and fries, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve never seen shrimp or wings this big. The homemade breading was golden perfection — light, crisp, and some of the best I can remember. The sauces were spot-on, adding just the right kick, and the fries nailed that magic balance: crispy outside, fluffy inside.
The little touches here really add to the charm. A bucket of lollipops and a bottle of Frank’s Hot Sauce sit on every table, and the décor gives the whole place a playful, welcoming vibe. Their canned soda selection is a nostalgic throwback — every flavor I loved as a kid — and the staff was so attentive and warm. Big smiles! They truly care about your experience.
Prices are very reasonable, and the daily specials make it even better (Lobster Sundays, anyone?). I even overheard other diners promising to return — and same here. I told the staff to get to know my face, because I’ll be back often!

Food was great! Had the chicken tenders, and I want to go back and try some other things. Staff were friendly and apologized for a small wait that was no big deal, I was in no rush.

Had the catfish and it was very good. I tried an assortment of sauces (tartar, BBQ, and garlic). They had spicier sauces and I’m hoping to try one sometime.
The catfish was better than I expected. Crisp and not greasy. The fries were OK (but my wife thought they were amazing). I found the catfish a bit salty, but I’m on a low sodium diet and my wife didn’t notice.
The woman behind the counter was very helpful and patient in explaining the options. I will definitely go again and probably add it to the family’s rotation.
Food took around 20 minutes to get, and that’s actually faster than many similar restaurants (Popeyes for example). It’s clearly made fresh and worth the wait.

First time trying this place, and let me tell you, felt like I was right at home. Fresh food, amazing taste, and the portion size is unreal. The staff is super cool and the location is a vibe, definitely recommend everyone in town or nearby to check them out.

Stopped in for lunch today and had the chicken wing combo. On a recommendation I ordered the wings with Sugar Red Chili/Garlic Parm sauces and the flavors were simply fantastic. The fries were crispy and had a delightful coating along with a dusting of lemon pepper seasoning. I’ll be back to try other sauces, the shrimp and the fish. I do wish they had fountain soda, maybe they’ll get that in the future. I’d recommend to stop in, you won’t be disappointed!
