Maddie was our waitress and she was polite, courteous and very helpful with the menu. I ordered a Fatcat and a frozen mug Root beer and my friend ordered a Philly cheesesteak with fries. Both meals were delicious and the root beer came with free refills! I also tried their broccoli and cheese soup which was absolutely delicious. Thanks to the owner for bringing back memories of Jimmy and the Grease Trucks at Rutgers University!!!

I came with my grandparents for dinner because this Stewart’s had menu items we all could enjoy. My grandparents both got burgers, with my grandpa getting sweet potato fries and my grandma getting regular fries. They said the burgers were a little dry, but the fries were delicious. The portion was so big they could have shared a single side of fries.
I was very impressed by the large variety of vegan menu options. I got vegan fried pickles and the vegan fat chicken sandwich. The fried pickles were crispy and satisfying. The vegan fat chicken was also amazing — I loved having French fries as part of sandwich and this is the kind of dish you rarely find vegan versions of. It was so big, I did have to take half to go, and the leftovers were also great. I obviously got root beer to drink to.
The service was great and the employees were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this Stewart’s as a place to eat with your family.

Stewart’s East Brunswick has quickly become one of my favorite go-to spots for vegan food in the area. The vegan options are absolutely amazing being always fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor! It’s clear they’ve put real thought into their plant-based menu, not just offering one or two options as an afterthought, but a variety that’s actually exciting to come back for. My personal favorite though is the Vegan Buffalo Crispy Chicken Pizza. I am absolutely obsessed and get one almost once a week! They probably think I’m crazy but on days I don’t have that pizza, my mouth is watering for it.
I also really appreciate that the vegan items are always in stock. No disappointment here! And the service? Super quick, yet everything still comes out hot and perfectly made. The staff, especially Madison and Kenny are always so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which makes the whole experience that much better!
If you’re looking for a local spot that takes vegan food seriously and serves it up with a smile, Stewart’s is it. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality, fast, and delicious vegan meals.

Was shocked that this place not only had a separate vegan menu, but a large one at that! Has to stop by for dinner while passing through Jersey. As a longtime vegan, I honestly miss little things like being able to stop in a hole-in-the-wall plaza place for some cheap, fried junk food, and this place did it all, but vegan!
Got quite a bit so we could explore the menu. Our server was young and not entirely sure of what was gluten-free, but she was really nice about going in the back to get the answers to all of my annoying questions. My partner is gluten-free, and I am afraid they did give her the meatball sub on gluten bread—thankfully, she isn’t Celiac’s about it.
Got to start my meal with a big mug of frosty root beer, of which Stewart’s is one of the best brands. This place rocks.

Came back here after a while, and the owner was giving a lot of attitude and being rude about ordering vegan food. The girl at the front was nice. Furthermore, we tried showing a yelp coupon that you get when you check in and the owner disregarded that and just said we don’t take those. Maybe this business should not be on yelp since they obviously don’t honor the platform that they are on. i was disappointed in writing this review, since i liked this place before. Would only come back if the owner wasnt here…
We got the vegan onion rings they were alright, very oily.

I was hanging out in Jersey, ran a search for vegan restaurants and thought it was a mistake when this one popped up.
After checking it was hard to believe they have so many things vegan.
Food tasted good and filling but the service was great. The tall guy taking the orders really takes his job and customer service seriously.
Looks like they have a fine team working there that deserve success together.
Many more options besides vegan, so don’t worry! Good prices also.
