Wild Ginger Exploration (Jayro Vids)
My family and I planned to kayak from the Leon boat launch to the campground and eat at Stewart’s for a month. We double checked and made sure they were open on the day we wanted to go, and that the hours were correct.
We kayaked down here, only to find out this place was closed down with no warning or reason. There were no emergencies, or explanation. There were 4 other cars full of people that pulled in while we were loading our kayaks and they were as flabbergasted as we were! I don’t even want to eat here now. Food is probably amazing but I’m already disappointed with the service.

Paddled from Leon and was going to try restaurant that I heard good things about and it was closed. Advertised open till 7pm but it is closed at 5:41pm. Also noticed 3 car loads of people that drove up and three people on four wheelers only to leave with heads hung low. Even a little note on the door would have been nice. “Had to close early sorry for the inconveniences.”

Had the beef manhattan and smothered chicken meal, also picked up two hot dog desserts. Food was excellent, desserts were amazing and the staff was friendly. Definitely worth a stop.
