Save yourself some money and go to the country kitchen around the corner. The coffee was terrible and bitter, one waitress for the whole place and she helped in the kitchen so good luck getting a refill. When our food came presentation was great. However the food was not. There was also a lot of flies. The ketchup bottles were either dirty or were old and being refilled when empty. No salt and pepper shakers only packets of salt and pepper on the table. For the price this is a hard pass.

I don’t know how this place has such great reviews other than maybe there breakfast is a lot better than dinner. Was overall pretty disappointed in dinner menu and service. Came in at 7:30, not busy at all, the servers/hosts didn’t smile or say your welcome once. Took over 30 minutes for our food, people who came in after us got their meals before we did. We never got our iced tea, or coke, & their water is not filtered, taste like sink water or worse. Both burgers were over cooked and super dry. The clam chowder was not clam chowder, it’s potato soup. The only decent thing we got from ordering was the turkey club and the French fries. I would compare this to a Denny’s, this restaurant seems more of a breakfast place rather than “American restaurant”.

This is a nice little family restaurant if you are vacationing near moss landing or just driving by. The staffs are very friendly and the restaurant has a vintage charm, which matches the name and the decor. We ordered crepe, which was crispy and delicious, and not at all doughy, which is my favorite kind. Also we got some veggie omelette with hash brown, the hash brown was excellent and very crispy on the edge. Our kid got a pancake stack, which I think he loved.

Staff seem super careless and leisurely. Food was probably the most bland stuff I’ve ever eaten, and it upset my stomach shortly after eating. I felt bad because there was only one cook doing everything, so I left a tip, but that was being generous. I got chicken Alfredo, and every time I took a bite I felt worse. The chicken tasted like it had been frozen and not thawed properly, like they popped it in the microwave beforehand. Not even all the pepper in the world could have made that pasta taste good. My husband got a jalapeño burger that came with no sauce, one random strip of bacon, and two jalapeño halves (not cut into slices). Would not recommend unless you’re wanting a deep appreciation of seasonings and sauce.

I came with my daughter and am still here. The customer service is awful. No one greets you. The kid you guys have working looks and talks to you like he doesnt want to be here. Do you know what it feels like to want to go to a restaurant and spend your hard earned money but the restaurant doesn’t even want you there??? I’m sitting here reading the front of the menu and how it says is it “establishing a warm and welcoming family atmosphere.”How come the people after me got a different welcoming??? I sat and watched everything. Im not only a culinary graduate but have been in this industry for over 10 years. Regardless if this is a family owned restaurant make sure the people you have working there want to be there and treat EVERYONE regardless OF RACE IR AGE WITH at least decent or any customer service
