So, so, Sorry to give a legendary Philly name in Cheesesteaks a 2 star but I can’t do any better. I’m only givin’ a 2 and not a 1 because maybe I got here on an off day.
They have a window which you can watch them grill the steaks. In my opinion, if I was grilling steaks they way they did that day, I’d have the privacy shades down.
Pre-sliced and most likely frozen slices of meat. They flip it wit a hamburger spatula! What da’?! They layer it on the unimpressive roll and boom what they call a Philly Steak is served. The cheese was lumpy and not fully melted, the meat was tough, it was kinda’ like being served a Steak-umm but unfortunately a Streak-umm is better.
Look, it ain’t often I cant finish anything let alone a Cheesesteak but I couldn’t finish.
Sorry again but as a lifelong Philly Cheesesteak eater I can’t in good conscience recommend this location and then someone who’s never had a Philly Cheesesteak goes her and has the same low quality steak I had. In my opinion they wouldn’t never try another Cheesesteak.

WILDWOOD ‘S WAY!
Excellent steaks being made here. You get alot of meat on your roll. It melts in your mouth and its really good. I would definitely go back again for more. I like its not chopped up that makes it taste even better. You can watch them cook on the grill while they make it!

The employees are always so welcoming. They will make your sandwich any way you like. The meat has such a good flavor, and I asked for extra whiz, and they understand what you mean. Extra Whiz! I will come back here, again, and again, and again.

The first time I came to this spot, I was a bit skeptical. However, when I had the first bite of their cheese steak, I was hooked from the jump!!! The meat they used tasted amazing, and the bread is really fresh. The staff is always on point with my order, and they are extremely courteous. Anyone ever come down to South Jersey has to come to Steve’s, cuz “One bite and you’ll be a loyal subject for life”

This is the place to get a cheesesteak! We ordered cheesesteaks and a chicken steak sandwich. We also ordered french fries and it was all delicious. The ordering is easy and the menu is clear. Everyone was friendly and the place was clean. A nice side seating area was next door. Lots of condiments to take if you wanted! It’s definitely the same as the original place on St Vincent St and Bustleton Avenue! I’d highly recommend!

Starting with the good, the staff was polite and friendly. After that, it went downhill. Cheesesteak was flavorless, and the cheeseburger was still raw in the middle! I was looking forward to eating here and will never go back.

Felt like being at Bustleton Ave but w Seagulls. Its nice to have an original taste of home down the shore. Great service and steak from Timmy Mac & his crew. These guys do it just like back home in NE Philly!

Steve’s prince of steaks In Wildwood, NJ is the absolute best addition hands down to the town. Every single time I’ve ever eaten at the establishment, I’ve been greeted with positivity, passion & genuine accommodations. The staff is the best, from the register clerks, to the cooks & management. Thank you Steve’s for investing in wildwood & treating everyone with respect & kindness. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the franchise!

P.S: I want to give a special thanks to Tim for always going out of his way to make my experience the absolute best it could possibly be. In my opinion, the hospitality shown from him & the rest of the staff is what puts Steve’s over any other cheese steak place around! Thanks again for everything you guys do.

Let me start by saying I drove 15 hours from Kentucky just to try these steaks. One of my top 3 on the island for sure. Steak was great had lots of flavor and they loaded it up with cheese for me. I do recommend coming by if you’re in the wildwood area. The Steve’s cherry soda was delicious as well. 5/5 will return!
