We have lived in Huntington Beach for many years and cannot believe it took us this long to try Steve’s Charbroil. From the very first bite, we knew it was special. The charcoal grilled hamburgers are absolutely delicious; they have the charcoal grilled flavor you can’t find anymore.
The whole family ordered double hamburgers. The thick cut fries deserve special mention too, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and simply amazing.
This place instantly became a favorite for us, and we will definitely be coming back again and again. A true local gem that lives up to the years is been here.

We had a wonderful breakfast here! The food was fresh and flavorful—nothing canned, just high-quality ingredients prepared with care. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It’s clear they take pride in both the food and the atmosphere. I don’t give 5 stars lightly. This is the spot in Huntington Beach for that perfect old school burger. It’s big…loads of fries exceptional value. Don’t hesitate to stop in for a cooked to order burger and fries. I am going to try the breakfast special tomorrow. I am in love with this place. You should try it.

Fantastic burgers. Really fantastic. I just happened to find myself in the area and hungry. Did not expect a mind blowing burger. But it was perfect. I love shredded lettuce. Red onion. Toasted bun. Perfect amount of sauce. And the prices are great. Value wise this place is off the charts. Will be back. Unfortunately, I will probably be gaining some weight soon. But it’s for a good cause.

I’ve been coming here since probably freshman year of high school over 30 years ago. The food is absolutely amazing. They have the best hamburgers by far in all of Southern California. The double bacon cheeseburger is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Hands down at any hamburger joint anywhere in the world and I’ve been a few places. I highly recommend this. Absolutely get the hamburger to start with and I definitely recommend the double bacon cheeseburger.
