Took the pic after started eating it! Always happy with the breakfast skillets. I typically get the house skillet and add some gravy to the top! You can get breakfast served all day. It’s a hole in the wall, nothing fancy spot, but the servers are attentive and always topping off your coffee.

First off, as we were waiting 15 minutes for our waitress to come back to take our order, we saw a person bussing the tables drop the silverware on the floor, pick it up, and put it on the table. Our waitress was more concerned with cleaning tables than taking our order. We had to flag her down to take our order, and flag a different waitress down to just get our check. Also, the biscuits and gravy were horrible. The biscuits were hard and the gravy was not good. My wife ordered the 2, 2, and 2, recommended by the waitress, which was supposed to be 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon or sausage. She only received one sausage patty and was told you only get 2 if it’s sausage links not patties. Thought that was ridiculous. The only reason that I gave the food 2 stars is because the pancakes were fantastic.

STEVES’S GRILL is located in Demotte a small town in Northwest IN. Why do I like this place? First off it is unassuming not like so many places these days. Secondly, it has good food. The restaurant is not fancy but warm and inviting. The service is good and fare served up with a smile. I chose the home cooked chili and bleu cheese burger both of which were delicious. My companion ordered the club sandwich equally good and was happy with his choice. There is table or counter seating which is a nice option and the menu has plenty of choices for just about everyone in your family. The price point is good & comparable to similar food venues. The restaurant is clean and provides restrooms for its customers. Thank you Steve’s Grill for a delicious lunch. I am happy to recommend this spot for good service, value & food. I am not affiliated with this venue and is my personal review & experience.

I miss the old ownership the food has gone down hill since it changed hands…. I had a burger which was pretty wet my bun was soggy. The fries were like eating mashed potatoes they were so mushy and lacked flavor. My husband got the steak and eggs he said the steak had a funny taste and the eggs were undercooked.. my daughter got the chicken strips they were good and the pancakes my other daughter got were good as well

Well the visit was last minute choice. On way out of town. Your typical family diner. First impression not so good. Brian was running around cursing up a storm not a happy camper. I asked the server if he was ok she said he gets mad like this. So I ordered the turkey wrap and chili. Chili came out cold server to microwave it when I told her. The turkey they use for the wrap is called idk. Very cheap meat. Onion rings were not bad. Trish was good though she was fast and kind. She was busy and still made sure I was taken care of. So she helped the visit. Revisit your meats you use for turkey and have a talk to Brian.

This is a great family style dining restaurant. They were quite busy tonight but we still had excellent service. Food menu is very large. Everything we ordered came to with the table hot and fresh. We had a very friendly waitress and overall enjoyed our meals.

I ordered a Sirloin and it had a funny taste, was the driest steak I had ever ate. I took 2 bites of it and that was it. The steak looked and tasted like it had been thrown in a microwave out of the freezer and then thrown on the grill. It was hard and tough. The mashed potatoes were instant and tasted awful, they tasted like watered down instant potatoes, but worse. The corn and soup tasted decent.
I told the waitress I couldn’t eat it and told her the exact same as I put above. She took the plate away, I assumed I would’ve got something knocked off the bill, but nope. My husband did eat his burger and said it wasn’t bad. Our bill was $44, I just paid it and we will never be back. I waited tables for 25 years, and as a server, I would’ve seen if I could’ve given the customer a discount seeing as they couldn’t eat the food. Our server took my salad before I could even tell her I wasn’t done with it as well. We hadn’t even left the parking lot and I began throwing up. I knew the meat wasn’t good, even those 2 bites got me sick. I was VERY disappointed and their prices for the quality of their food doesn’t match at all.
