Many years ago Steve’s was my intro to delicatessens. And still today, it’s one of my favorites. You can’t go wrong with a bowl of matzo ball soup or any of their delicious sandwiches. If you feel like treating yourself, have a cheese blintz too ☺️

This review is not about the food. The food is decent however, the service is not. Not trying to call that card, for those that understand where I’m coming from, you know what I’m trying to convey. I visited Steve’s today cause I was craving a corn beef sandwich. I waited at the counter for about 5 minutes or so before being acknowledged, not that the problem because, I consider myself a patient individual. A couple of staff members walked by and said nothing, no big deal, not a smile, not someone will be right with you, nothing! Like damn does it hurt to smile nowadays? Just asking? Is everyone that uptight? Finally a gentleman ask could he take my order, placed my order and waited to be checked out. While I’m waiting a lady comes in to pick up her order with her dog in hand. Now before the all the dog lovers go in, I also love dogs. Here’s where the problem comes in at. Just because you consider yourself clean and your dog clean is not always necessary true, and is it ok for a customer to allow her dog to place their dog paws on the counter where food is being handled and picked up? Let alone bring a dog in an establishment that serves food? Or where people are eating? And no this is not a service dog! Lastly the cashier had a serious attitude problem towards me. While friendly towards others that don’t look like me( and I’m a friendly person). Therefore, after today I choose not to patronize an establishment that doesn’t appreciate a customer that looks like me. Again this review is not about the food but the service I received today at Steve’s.

The best true Jewish deli in the area. Food is incredible. Prices are high but worth every penny. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the service was also very good. Sandwiches are huge! The take-away side has some awesome homemade specialty foods. The chopped liver is especially good!

We have always enjoyed your food, BUT it’s time to address your over-use of plastic. This was our take-out. Maybe from now on it’s just better to eat at Steve’s so this happens less.

Have been going here since it opened. It used to be good. Yesterday turkey off bone sandwich tough as leather and indistinguishable from hard salami texture. No problem with server, was courteous. Food awful. $25 for a worthless sandwich. Outrageous. 3rd bad experience in a row.won’t be back.

Our server was great, but the food was very subpar and CRAZY expensive! For one corned beef sandwich and fries, it was 26.00. The food also took forever and was cold once we finally received it.

Besides the slight sticker shock, loved the pastrami and corned beef with dressing. Bread was perfect; soft with a crunchy crust. Son had the swanky franky sausage which he enjoyed also. Ah man the new dill was perfect and they didn’t skimp on them either. Like 6 good size spears. Not like the other place I recently went too! Would definitely recommend

I walked in hungry, 1rst visit…I asked leaving patrons., “Hwz the food?” “Delicious” they said. Once inside my eyes filled with excitement, there seems to be food, snacks & a variety of beverages everywhere. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. The menu is loaded with all sorts of good food from cold cuts to hot dishes served. I settled for the (4)beef sliders w/fries, lemonade & bottled water. I couldn’t eat it all…the small mountain of shoestring fries were endless but so good. I’ll be back for part 2 (beef short ribs or shrimp fried rice) yummy

I walked in to order a carry out and they were somewhat busy. I was told they were very busy and I needed to wait. I said no problem take your time. After about 5-10 minutes of waiting he turns around and claps his hands in my face and says “let’s let’s go what do you want!” I ask to speak to a manager. I’m told he’s gone for a month. I ask why I was spoken to that way. He responds “that’s how I roll and I get paid for it too.” I wouldn’t recommend Steve’s Deli to a starving homeless man if they were giving away food for life. They could care less about their customers and made it very clear. I have been a customer all my life. But no more. Stage Deli isn’t far and that’s where we will take our business going forward.

Absolutely no complaints- pastrami on rye, matzoh ball soup, and my friend’s tuna fish with tomato was on point! Our server (younger, tall, dark haired-lady) couldn’t have been more accommodating even though we kept her table for too long. Thank you!
