First time visiting and I must say its definitely a nice cozy spot and the staff are great. I gave a 3 for food because I would’ve liked to know that my bagel sandwich only came with 1 egg and I dont feel that my turkey bacon was cooked long enough. I would’ve ordered more eggs to not feel like im just eating a bagel with flavor. The bagel itself was awesome too, i love fresh bagels. My son felt the same about the egg on his bagel sandwich as well. We both had egg whites.

This was a fun and unexpected find. The bagels here were phenomenal, me and my partner got a variety of sandwiches (the Warren, lox bagel, 2 different bagels with cream cheese) and each one was delicious. Hard to find good bagels out here and this was definitely a win. The place was cozy and comfortable, the service was quick and friendly.
Highly recommend stopping in, I’ll definitely be back again!

Best bagels around, hands down. That’s why it’s so frustrating that this place is run so poorly. Simple orders take way longer than they should, don’t be surprised if a 1/2lb of cream cheese takes 5-10 minutes while you watch half the staff stand around, and then you finally get your 1/2lb and it’s the wrong variety. Every time we come here, without fail, there is some issue with either our order or the service. We won’t order bagel sandwiches anymore because it takes too long and the consistency is not there. Quality control! This is a management issue, with some proper leadership and supervision over the staff, these issues would go away. There is plenty of staff on hand, but it feels like no one is in charge. If I were the owner I would get in here and lead by example and fix these issue that everyone who frequents Steve’s Bagels knows all too well. Instead they will argue with anyone who points these things out in the reviews (anyone watch kitchen nightmares?). The sad part is these things likely won’t improve because I’m sure Steve is quite successful, as the bagels and cream cheese really are the best!

I stopped in on Sunday morning for a coffee and bagle. I was first very worried because I spotted a large sign that advertised their famous “pickle sandwich” wich didnt seem appetizing to me, but I absolutely love finding places like this one.
The atmosphere was clean, and the staff was welcoming and super friendly. They have a nice selection of sandwiches, bagles, coffee and other beverages as well. The seating area is comfortable for about 30 people.
Will definitely remember this location for any time I’m in the area.

I recently had an omelette at Steve’s Bagels, and it was absolutely delicious! Steve’s is your go-to for a classic, regular bagel shop experience, while Blue House is more of a boutique with our focus on sourdough. I will give this place 5 stars every single time! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The bagels are warm and chewy and fresh daily. I have gone time and time again for breakfast and have never been disappointed. My favorite is called the spud it’s one egg cheese bacon and a hashbrown on any of their bagel and it is fantastic every time. Always hits the spot if you are in the mood for a good bagel.

I don’t get all the salty comments. These are probably the best bagels I’ve had in CT. Been coming here for over 2 years and they never disappoint.
Some people complain about waiting times but the staff in the back is constantly working really hard. I’ve never had that issue though. The staff is really friendly and tries to accommodate every customer the best they can.
People are used to fad foods where they get the food in 30 seconds. Good things need a bit longer than that.
If you don’t want to wait 5 minutes for a great bagel, go to Dunkin’s.

worst experience I’ve ever had with a business. Cashier lady was so rude. She also couldn’t multitask on getting bagels out to paying customers and to take on new orders. There was no line when I walked in. Took 25 minutes just to get a simple bagel sandwich. Definitely will not go back there ever again.

Being an Uber delivery driver I’ve had multiple orders canceled due to their sloooow service. Extra long wait times having both the customer and driver wait over 30 minutes for a simple bagel sandwich is unheard of. I lose money and time, customer’s lose their food order and the business also loses out. Move your buttons faster and make the customer happy. They have plenty of employees working but not with much sense of urgency!!!
