Nice place, great view of the Mississippi, and the staff is super friendly.
Solid menu with several good options, prices are moderate for a steakhouse.
Three of us ordered the sirloin, medium and I added blue cheese topping. Two of the three were good cuts, one had allot of non chewable trash. Sides were solid and also included, which was a surprise.
Worth a try…

Thought I’d treat myself and the husband to a “fine” dining experience to end a busy weekend. We hadn’t been here for years. Note we are fans of Verde, Ruthies, Duck City. My romaine salad still had the red end on it. The salad was good but not worth the price. My husband enjoyed the garlic salad. He also ordered the lamb chops. He said it was tough, almost like jerky! My scallops were TINY and overcooked. The cauliflower “purée” looked like watery oatmeal and it didn’t taste good. The service and timing was great. However…. Wow! Absolutely not worth the money and we did not enjoy the food.

Very nice place. Quiet, relaxing with live music. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Nicely stocked bar and a decent menu. Not sure if they take walk ins, we and everyone else we saw had reservations made. There is a beautiful fire pit outside and one side of the restaurant faces the Mississippi River. Expect to spend about 60-120 minutes here. The food is absolutely delicious and beautiful! We ordered the Chipotle ribeye and blackened swordfish. Desert was strawberry float cake and raspberry cheesecake.

My wife threw me a dinner party to celebrate my 70th birthday at Steventon’s Restaurant. The wait staff service, food, and attention to detail were all incredible!! We live in Southern California and were on vacation visiting my wife’s family, and the location could not have been more perfect. My sincere thank you and appreciation to Julie Perez, General Manager and the staff at Steventon’s Restaurant for a memorable evening and experience!

Nice place on the river, unless it’s dark! Then you can’t see the river! There’s a patio with a firebox, which was nice. They had an outdoor Christmas tree, which provided a nice backdrop for pictures! Servers were all dressed like a fancy olive garden, but I can tell you there’s no such thing as fine dining in the state of Iowa! The most consistent pizza is in a gas station in this state! Just so you have an understanding of how things work in this great state! We had a custom menu, which I was disappointed with because when I went online and saw the tar tar tower, I was culinary intrigued! But it was not available to us this evening! The garlic mashed potatoes would keep Dracula away, and the amount of gouda on the salad you’d have thinking it was on sale! When I roll up on a new spot, I usually order a burger! I was not afforded that opportunity this evening! I ordered 3 shots of Patron, and they kept coming on , no matter what I asked for! The place was busy, and the servers did their best! When I suggested we move the tables so we could all see each other, I was looked at like I had an appendage growing out of my head. But they made it happen! There’s a picture of my “medium” steak the next day, which I tried to reheat in my broiler, to no avail! Spent the next 24hrs on the toilet. I bet it’s a great spot for a burger and a during daylight hours! I read a previous review that said, ” it was hard to enjoy fine dining with AC/DC on the radio!” I was not afforded this luxury! Would’ve made the evening much more ironic! All in all, they tried hard, and I felt that! Would definitely come back on a sunny day, sit on the patio, and have a burger and a beer!! It’s definitely not fine dining place, but it’s definitely a decent restaurant to have some food at. Just keep your expectations in check!

We went here for Valentine’s and everything was so scrumptious. Great atmosphere and they have a beautiful view of the river as well as a fire pit to enjoy in the warmer months. I absolutely loved their white-chocolate strawberry martini. It tasted like a strawberry shake. Like I said, everything we had was perfect, but if I had to recommend one thing it would be their lobster bisque. I would recommend Stevenson’s to anyone.

Having recently moved to town from Miami, FL I know a good place when I see it. Stevenson’s had great reviews and so I had to have the experience for myself; and boy was I glad I did. Everything was absolutely perfect. The service was just as great. Our server recommended the lobster tail and it was
delicious. My daughter had the Stroganoff Porterhouse and It looked mouth watering. My mother had the top sirloin and it too looked delicious. We ended the night with what I have to say was one of the best creme brulee I’ve had being here. Cant wait to bring my family here when they come visit!

Nice facility. Delicious meals with great presentation. A tad expensive though but doesn’t take anything away from how special the meals look and taste. The pecan crusted salmon, I think that is what it is called, is soo delicious

Food – amazing. Staff – friendly & attentive. We really do love this restaurant. Beautiful scenery. But the one thing that kind of kills the ambiance is the music. It’s fine dining at it’s best. But when you’re fine dining to AC/DC… it just kind of ruins the mood. Lol.
