⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% recommend! The food was amazing — delicious, filling, and fast! Even with a full house, our meals came out in no time. The server was incredible — friendly, attentive, and handled everything like a pro. Cozy vibe, great music, and just an all-around fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back! ✨

Went here for the first time and the overall experience was okay and nothing special.

There is usually a wait for this restaurant so be wary of that. Ours was about 15 minutes. Customer service was good and food was promptly brought in.

We ordered 3 baskets of catfish, 1 ten pieces of Mozzarella sticks, and regular cups of water. Catfish batter was salty for all of us and we all had to take out the outside fried skin for us to eat it. From the inside it was fine.

Our total should have been $40+tax, but we were asked for $48.17 which I am not sure why. I was not given any itemized invoice and I just paid it as-is. I think they charge extra for paying with the credit card and if that is the case then customer should be advised first or extra charge should be listed for customer to see instead of just adding and then charging it without customer’s approval. We did send a message regarding this through Facebook but never got any response.

I will try other restaurant next time.

My husband and I were looking for an easy sit down and chill restaurant. We stopped at a few places before and they didn’t feel like the kind of place we were looking for. We often visit Broken bow from Texas and this was our first time trying this restaurant. I got the bacon cheeseburger, and my husband got the chicken fried steak. Both dishes were amazing and definitely worth a try. On top of amazing food the service was matched. Our waitress (I wish I got her name) was super kind helping us with the menu and what to get. Her kindness left a mark. I would definitely recommend and return!!

My husband and I decided to try here for breakfast on our honeymoon. We are from Texas and was our 1st time out here.
The food was great! Got a veggie omelet with bacon and biscuit and gravy with the BEST I’ve ever had diced potatoes! The omelet had so much bacon in it and the veggies with cheese inside was amazing!
The waitress was incredibly sweet

I do not make accusations lightly, but what we experienced here was unacceptable and deeply concerning.

This past weekend, six of us came in for breakfast and waited over an hour and a half while multiple tables sat empty. We were repeatedly told to keep waiting without any clear reason, while other groups were seated. There was no justification for the delay.

After speaking with others in the area, we were told this establishment has a reputation for treating Hispanic customers differently. Based on our experience, it certainly felt that way. Being ignored while watching available tables go unused sends a very clear message.

If this was not intentional, management needs to explain how a group of nine people can be left waiting that long with open seating. And if it was intentional, that is discrimination — plain and simple.

Ownership and management should take this seriously, review their practices, and ensure that every customer is treated equally and with respect. No one should leave a restaurant feeling unwelcome because of who they are.

We expect better.

The building is very small, which is fine, but when you have groups constantly coming in to wait to be seated, people are standing on top of people eating. There was no system to call people in who were waiting in line. They would take a name, no phone number and would tell them to wait outside. (It’s currently 20° outside). They either need to build a waiting room, a texting system or something. We weren’t there long, but most of the groups left and went other places.

Now onto the food. It was bland, mediocre, food at best. Asked for ranch, still waiting on it… sandwich was exhausted, breakfast bowl was so bland with no flavor. The pancake was massive, but ate 2 bites and felt like it was a complete waste of money. Would’ve rather gone somewhere else.

We were trying to leave to pay and there were so many people standing inside waiting to be seated, we couldn’t leave for 10 mins because we were trapped in our seats. The door slammed into our booth multiple times from people opening the door really hard. One girl taking names for a wait list just kept telling everybody 20-30 mins… they’d look around and only 4 tables were full.

We definitely feel we wasted money and time being here. Definitely wouldn’t recommend coming here. The lady who sat us in the beginning was very nice (only reason I didn’t give 1 star). We were thinking about getting pie, but knew if we were still waiting on ranch, we’d never leave if we were waiting for pie even though it was sitting right there in the fridge at the check out counter. Not worth the time or money. Such a shame

This is one of our staples for breakfast when we come to Hochatown. The pancakes are enormous and delicious. The eggs, bacon and breakfast potatoes are always cooked perfectly. There can be a wait because the restaurant is small but it’s definitely worth the wait! A must try!

Today was our 2nd time eating here for breakfast. The first time was on our way out of town and the experience was average and food was decent. Huge pancakes which really impressed us enough for us to try this place again.

As we pulled into the parking lot this morning at 10:15, we noticed customers waiting on the porch/deck, so we knew there would be a wait time. No biggie, as we had no real plans for most of the day. I went in and told the young lady working the register that there we were a party of 2 looking for a table. She said the wait would be 30-35 mins. I said ok, and offered my phone number because we would be waiting in the vehicle. She said they don’t take down numbers or call people. You had to be waiting when your name was called.

We waited on the deck in the cold and rain for an hour before we were called. We did however notice that two groups that arrived AFTER us were called in BEFORE us! Each time, I told the young lady that we were there first and she shrugged and said sorry. During the hour long wait, we noticed there were at least 6 empty booths at any given time.

When we were finally invited in and seated, we realized that Biscuits and gravy were off the menu because they stopped serving those at 11am. So now our food choice was limited.

After placing our order, and waiting another 30 minutes for the food to arrive, we finally got to eat the most bland breakfast that I believe we have ever eaten.

The servers were indifferent to the customers needs. Our server, if you can consider them that, did not check on us a single time while we ate. The only time we seen her after bringing us our food, was when she brought our ticket.

This place could be have huge potential if they had some type of waitlist notification, a buzzer or text system, something other than a young lady walking out onto the deck and yelling names, then shrugging and walking off. Also, they should consider hiring additional staff the help with the crowds. This is a tourist town and they should be better prepared for the crowds.

We will definitely not be back, nor will we be recommending this place to anyone. No matter how big the pancakes are.

Delicious! The “Breakfast Cubes” are one of my favorite things on the menu seasoned to perfection. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, but they were pretty burnt on the bottom, which was disappointing. That said, I tried a bite of my mom’s pancake, and it totally made up for it tasted just like cake, super sweet and satisfying. The place seemed clean inside and out, and the service was okay overall. Not perfect, but still a solid breakfast spot I’d come back to.
