This is a bit long winded but worth it. Steve N Jan’s is amazing. My family and I left our house during Irma and headed to Lincoln for safety. In our despair and with heavy hearts we stumbled across Steve N Jan’s online and decided to try it out. It’s off the beaten path a little but what an amazing delight. The food is incredible. If there was a dinner at church and everyone brought their best dish is what you get from the buffet. We so desperately needed a home cooked meal with an abundance of love added. It was what we needed and had no idea. I had the pleasure of meeting Steve and his wonderful daughter and after hearing about our plight they said a prayer for us in their restaurant. My family and I left there with full bellies and so much hope in our hearts, I will forever remember this place as one of the most satisfying dinning experiences I have ever had. Also do not leave without trying the peach cobbler with ice cream. I will never drive by Alabama again without stopping in for dinner.

I’ve never had barbecue quite as flavorful and tender. The only downside to the place is its out of the way location, but the barbecue is definitely worth the 7 to 8 minute drive from I-20.

Read the great reviews, so we went way out of our way and followed all the signs. It was the day after Thanksgiving and it was closed for the season, except for catering. We were very disappointed!! The signs need a “Closed Until….” banner on them.
