Excellent food at a very fair price. I will return and continue sharing this local gem with both locals and visitors. One dish came out with a single instead of double patty, but the shock value of how good the food was kept us from making a fuss while there – especially since the fresh batch of French onion soup took a bit longer to finish than the staff anticipated. A couple hiccups, but for the first time experiencing the shop, I have high hopes for next time and will update if I hit a categorical failure.

First time being here since new owners took over what used to be Stacy’s Lounge. The inside looks completely different and is well decorated. I do like the big Leesburg sign on the west wall and like seeing the “Play like a Champion” sign still hangover the doorway from many years ago. Our server Shelby was very friendly and helpful. My wife had the pastrami Reuben along with Cole slaw for a side. She liked both of those very much. I had a cheeseburger with tomato and fries for a side. The The cheeseburger was cooked properly and the fries were good as well. We also shared the cheese sticks for an appetizer and we both enjoyed those too. I believe they’re battered which we both prefer. The marinara sauce also was good and it sticks to the cheese sticks which is good. Some places you get a watery sauce and nothing adheres to the stick. All in all, a good experience and will come back.
Second time back here I had the battered tenderloin and it is the absolute best tenderloin I’ve ever had. I’ve never had a battered tenderloin before, only breaded. I’ve tried a lot of breaded ones around the area and this is by far better than any of those. This is the only way I want a tenderloin now. So good. I hope this stays on the menu for a long time.
Update on 8-9-25. Food is still so good here. I got the battered tenderloin again. Hard to pass up.

Great example of a small town restaurant. Small friendly and a great waitress. Food was very tasty. Chicken salad was fresh and greens were crispy and the chicken was very tasty. I had the fresh house made ranch dressing and it was rich and full of flavor without the thick normal ranch. The calzone was very tasty and a little more crunchy than I like but still good. Chicken nuggets were the typical chicken nuggets with bbq sauce. We came on a Tuesday for the one item that is only offered ( my understanding ) on on this day. We got the “giant” mozzarella sticks and they were wonderful for those who like this item. The marinara sauce was delicious. The only issue I had was the wooden chairs. The chairs were very uncomfortable for me.

Food looked amazing and probably would have been but… We were told 15 min wait and it was about 20 but that was ok no problem. Got a table waited 12 min no server to the saw another table get sat in the same area and instantly got a drink order. And for 10 min of the wait we had our menus down and off to the side.

This was our 4th trip to Steuby’s. I had been craving the cheese curds and brought the whole family to experience what i keep telling them are “The best cheese curds in the county”. Kelly was our server and she was absolutely great. All of our meals were delicious. I was disappointed that the appetizers seemed to have shrunk, the portions were more generous in previous visits. Everything is good. I recommend the special… whatever that may be when you visit. I love the huge beer selection. Try to save some room for dessert.

Normally when we order the pizza we are blown away because it’s so good. However, this evening we placed our order, picked it up in a timely manner, and got it home to find out immediately that the ranch dressing for the non existent salad was at least in the bag. Then upon biting into the burnt end brisket sandwich and chewing and chewing and chewing and chewing, I realized that about a quarter of the chunks of “meat” inside of the sandwich were solid fat. Like whole, huge chunks of nothing but fat. Extremely disappointing.

Nice place to go eat. The used to have one of the best Whiskey Sours but this time they used a mix and it was not as good. The food is great. They have a Teaser dressing that is one of the best I have had. The duck burger has been my favorit. But this day I had a regular burger

First in for drinks, ended up with a pizza and some fun conversation with the waitress.
The pizza was delicious, I am not a pizza person, but can appreciate when some fresh basil is put on top of crispy Pepperonis on a pizza.
The Chocolate Mousse cake/pie was very creamy, expecting it to be richer I was delighted to find it wasn’t! Just the right amount of sweet.
Decor was well done with a comforting atmosphere to go with it.
Appreciate the staff putting up with the antics going on at our table. Thanks for the stick figure drawing!
