The people working there were great! The food was absolutely delicious! The only thing you need to be aware of, is that there is a $3 fee to use a debit/credit card, and they don’t prepare the food till it’s paid for. So, if you call in an order, you have to use your card to pay for it over the phone if you want it ready, and that adds $3. But, it doesn’t take that long for them to prepare it. I DO recommend this place though if you like buttery, spiced to perfection seafood though! I got the crab legs special they are running right now. A hand of snow crab, and 2 sides, for $10. I got corn and potatoes. They also have a punch card, where you can earn a free dinner! I will be going back! Great food and friendly service!

I have a severe food allergy so to be safe I only eat from places with allergen menus available.
With that said… I’ve never been sadder to have a food allergy. The food smells AMAZING! My husband absolutely loves the crab clusters. He says the seasoning and flavor is incredible. He looks forward to the weekend so he can get this delicious seafood!
One particular day I was 6 cents short and the girl spotted me. I really appreciated that!

My wife had wanted to go for a while. Just got around to taking her last night. I got fried fish and ff. The fish was a little spicy for me, the more you ate the hotter it got but told the nice lady there and she said just tell them the next time and they would go lighter on the seasoning. But it was good and plenty of it. My wife’s food on the other hand was great. She had shrimp, potatoes and corn. She shared some of it (one shrimp) but it was excellent. I love garlic and boy that had garlic and butter, my wife ate 100% and raved how good it was. We will definitely go back. Thank you…..Srep’s Garlic Seafood.

This is a true gem in a hole-in-the wall setting. I honestly thought twice about eating here based on appearances, but decided to try it because of the reviews. You will be surprised how good everything is!
What it lacks in ambiance is more than made up for by the food. They’ve been in business 5 years and I can see why. Good seafood at good prices.

Really great seafood! We had a blue crab plate and shrimp plate. I really enjoyed the shrimp plate. Yummy potatoes and corn. The blue crabs were small, but she said they’re typically larger and they’ve just been small due to weather, etc. Next time we will try the rock crab. Or, maybe the blue crabs will be larger. I would recommend this restaurant to others either dine in or take out. They also have a punch card for frequent buyers.

If you want good seafood, this is the place the to go! It is a little hole in the wall, but Don’t let that fool you. The people here are very nice and friendly, and the food is the best I have ever eaten. If you are anywhere near Lakeland, FL do yourself a favor and stop by Step’s for some delicious seafood. “It’s all in the garlic butter!”

The food was great. Seasoned just right. I wish they had a better sign in order to find them. We passed by the place at first but turned around going Northbound we were able to see the sign. Other than that the food was hot and delicious.
