As soon as you walk in the door it’s like going back in time. Old school bakery, the donuts are amazing! I would say they are the best donuts in the U.P if not the Midwest!

Clean, friendly, assortment was wonderful, donut did taste good but could have been terrific..
Only issue was, where is the density? I want to feel the fullness of my jelly donut and to be honest it was lighter than the paper plane I made with my son last night. Fill them babies full of goodness guys!!! I bought a half a dozen of donuts and all but one was filled. There is absolutely no weight to this box of donuts. Don’t be afraid of stuffing!

Passing through the town and stopped but it was almost closed and didn’t have much of a selection. We did get Apple turnovers and they were great!

I am not generally a fan of apple fritters. However, as I waited in line to buy a donut, every person in front of me purchased a fritter. Naturally, I was curious about the hype around there apple fritters. And the hype was real! They are the best fritter I have ever had, and forever changed my opinion about apple fritters. I continue to make weekend trips back up north for more!

This is an amazing little bakery. We stumbled upon it in our exploration of this small town. We were quite excited as there are few real bakeries in our part of the country. We grabbed a box to go and tried several items. The Persians were incredible! Comparable with any Polish bakery in Minneapolis or Milwaukee. The same can be said about the peanut cake. The eclairs are very traditional by which I mean that they are not overly sweet as most places make them nowadays. This is just like the eclair I tried in Paris many years ago. The only thing that we were not the biggest fans of was their version of baklava. It was tasty, but Americanized. Well worth the stop.
