I really like this restaurant. I have been here at the bar during happy hour and also ordered food for pick up many times. The food is always delicious. The staff is really nice. And this place is great for a night out with friends or date night. They have live music some nights as well.

Went last night (first timers) for daughter’s birthday. Everything was delicious and the size of these steaks was astounding. Filet mignon (huge and tender) and New York strip were cooked and seasoned to perfection.

Hate to sound like a mina bird to other reviewers, but it is true!

The dessert was turtle cheesecake. Check out pic attached! You eat with your eyes first.

Nice treat and we will be back again!

We had a great dinner this evening served by james.
I recommend the table side Caesar. I ordered the drunken Veal, it came with pasta in a blush sauce. I got the pasta n blush sauce on the side. If you un media and neat State Steet, I highly recommend!

Went as a first timer and i already cannot wait to go back. The customer service from over the phone, when i walked in and during my time there was outstanding! I had the sweetheart martini it was so good. And for my entree i went with the 16oz spiced crust New York strip steak, medium, with shallot butter. That was the biggest steak I’ve ever ordered. It was absolutely phenomenal. Cooked perfectly! Flavors were out of this world! I can’t wait to go back to try other menu items.

4pm arrival sitting at the high-top behind the bar; bartender busy telling stories of her own to the only 3 customers sitting there. Finally got her attention and was lucky enough to get a new server that was super-attentive (granted, we were her only customers). Manhattan $17 was good. Margarita flatbread not bad. Old-bay fries had no old bay (think they forgot). Wings were just ok. Not much flavor but crispy. The best dish (of which no picture because they were consumed so fast) was the Cheesesteak nachos and the Old Fashion Sundae. $80 for a bottle of J.Lohr Pinot Noir ($20-$30 retail) was off-putting but delicious. Espresso Martini was a little sweet but still tasty at $15. Would go back for Happy Hour again.

Saturday Feb 14th 5PM Valentines day disaster. We will never eat at this place again. Service & food was extremely bad. We were the 4th couple to be seated in this area of about 12 couples in the back room (about 12 tables). We watched every couple eat apps through dessert, pay and leave before we even got our meals. We didn’t make a fuss. After an hour the entree arrived and was undercooked a $52 Filet mignon I asked for medium rare, it was served rare the chef seared for about 30 seconds each side. I asked for a box immediately and our check.
The server even took a long time to give us our check. I had to ask a bus person to inform her we had to leave. Looking back at it I should have just left. foolish me even left an 18% tip for bad service. I’m usually a 25% tipper

The most incredible restaurant you’ll ever witness. Once I stepped through those doors, I was no longer identified by my profession but was greeted by the style of my taste buds.

The inquisitive nature of the waiter led me to believe he was a mastermind who knew my every desire. This place provided me with the most authentic cuisine east of the Mississippi.

Think again before driving past this storefront. The flavor packs a punch and the staff are as friendly as a Girl Scout. Excellent across the board.

My wife and I were first time diners at Stephen’s. We were impressed upon arrival as this establishment was clean and had a lovely ambiance. We were seated in a very comfortable booth, that gave a romantic vibe. Our waiter was very friendly, polite, and fast. One thing I noticed throughout the evening was that the waiters and waitresses took extra care of each customer. The food was delicious and the portions were large. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend Stephen’s to anyone. I know I will be going back

The area we were seated at was extremely dark. The menus they have are backlit so we could read them, but there was not much light once we were done ordering and they took the menus. It was also hot and humid inside the restaurant. The service was very good. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. The food was good, but not anything amazing. The spinach and artichoke dip and cheesesteak egg rolls were the best dishes we tried. The steak was okay but not particularly flavorful, it was on par with steaks I’ve had from outback. Considering it was nearly double the price I did expect a little bit more from it. My husband had the penne and seafood in vodka sauce. He enjoyed the sauce a lot.

Pretty much always have a decent experience when I come here, even when it’s busy. Great drinks, happy hour is a pretty good deal too. Pretty large bar to sit at as well.
